Chapter 3

THIRD PERSON POV

Arnold parked his car in the same space as yesterday. This time, he gasped at the most beautiful car he ever saw.

"Damn it. How many cars does she have?!" He exclaimed. Abigail looked at her brother.

"What?" Arnold pointed at the beautiful sports car. Arnold suddenly remembers something.

"You really okay?" Abigail nodded.

"Well the therapy yesterday is not helping with the pain but I think I can manage." Abigail moved her 'useless' leg out of the car. Arnold got out and grabbed his sister's crutches.

"Come on." Arnold holds Abigail's arm and helped her out. "Abigail Starbust?" A voice said behind the two siblings. Abigail looked at the direction of the voice and she gasped.

"ESTELLA?" The brunette ran towards Abigail and they both hugged each other.

"OH, MY GOD! It's been so long!"

Estella breathes out and pulled away to looked at her best friend face again.

"You've changed! A lot! Hotter!" Estella earned a slap on her shoulder.

"You've changed to from a small-time YouTube singer to a famous teen pop star!" Estella laughed.

"Well, I can't do it without my master editor even after I moved away." Abigail chuckled.

"Hey! Arnold needs some love too.." Estella laughed at Arnold and pushed him away when he tried to hug them.

"Not while I am alive Arnold." Arnold chuckled and offered his hand. "Good to see you again Stel." "Why didn't you guys tell me you all moved to LA!?" Estella asked.

"And why are you on crutches?" Abigail sighed and gave her best friend a smile.

"Long story."

"The bullies crushed her leg with a baseball bat." Abigail glared at her brother. Estella's eyes widen.

"What?! Who?!"

"The same people who you beat before." Again Abigail glared at Arnold. Arnold just shrugged.

"What did your parents do about this?"

"We moved to LA," Arnold answered.

"And?"

"And nothing. The police say we don't have enough evidence to convict them." Estella scoffed.

"What more evidence do they need?! Ash using crutches to walk!"

"My point exactly."

"Look... It's a few months ago. All I want is a fresh start. And Da Vinci Academy is so not what I'm thinking off before." Estella smiled.

"Don't worry Ash. I will protect you." Abigail was actually quite happy hearing that. For so long, she had feelings for her best friend but she's so afraid it might jeopardize their friendship.

But after she saw Estella's coming out the video before she's famous, she's been happier since. But when she meets Iva, her feelings were in a very confused state. Yesterday all she can think have been Iva, but now... Estella is back and it reminded her how deep her love was for her. Estella smiled lovingly at Abigail.

"Anyway, you guys already know where is where?" Arnold shakes his head.

"We just started yesterday and the principal was not in." Estella waved at her friends and turned to Arnold.

"Oh? Alright. Let's have a tour."

"But..." Abigail tries to protest. Estella stopped her.

"No but. Follow me. I'll show you the way to everywhere in the academy."

Estella wrapped her arms around Abigail's shoulder and instantly, Abigail feels all tingling inside. They all walked towards the school main building where majority the classes take place.

"Well, you both know what happens in this part of the school." Estella chuckled.

"Labs, classes and even study hall in this building, and the upper floor will be the school library. The largest library you will ever see."

"Hey, Estella..." Some student greeted the brunette.

"Hello..." Arnold winked at the girls and they all chuckled. "Don't bother Arnold, they're all lesbian."

"Seriously?"

Estella nodded. "They actually smile at Ash. Not you." Estella turned to Abigail. "Can you manage walking a little further?" Abigail nodded. Estella led them to the cafeteria.

"Student Cafeteria has its own sitting chart. So beware when you decided to sit anywhere..." They went to other hallways and Estella stopped in front of a double door.

"The school gym also basketball court and volleyball court where gym will take place as well," Then Estella leads them to a huge auditorium.

"This is where the principal will do her assembly, school play, and everything related." Estella chuckled.

Arnold looked at the time. "Gotta go, class and a potential hot girl." Arnold walked away and smiled. "What's your first class?"

"Miss Ocean's class,"

Estella's eyes widen. "English Lit? I HAVE THE SAME CLASS!" Abigail is actually quite relieved to know this. "Let's walk together." Estella offered and they both begin to walk.

"I need to go to my locker first." Estella nodded and followed Abigail to her locker. But when Estella saw the very person she hated, all her calming nerve leaving her system.

"Your locker next to that girl?" Abigail looked up to see Iva and Kelsey.

"Which girl?"

"That blonde girl."

"Iva? Yea. She showed me to my first class yesterday."

"Seriously? The ice queen melted?" Abigail chuckled and walked towards her locker. Kelsey noticed Abigail and waved at her.

"Ash!" Abigail smiled at Kelsey. "Hey, Estella."

The brunette smiled at the blonde. Iva didn't look up from her phone. Estella glared at Iva for ignoring her. Kelsey noticed the tension and she quickly turned to Abigail.

"Hey. How was your first day?" This time Iva looked up, looking at Abigail. Abigail gulped and smiled nervously. "Fun I guess."

"CRUTCHES!!!!"

A guy shouted and started to laugh at Abigail. Abigail was surprised by the sudden scream and touched her chest. Estella went to Abigail and hold her shoulder.

"You okay?" Abigail feels so safe and protected in Estella's arms. Estella glared at the guy who shouted. "Seriously?! You too?!"

"MIKA! GO AWAY!" Kelsey warned. Mika smirked.

"Or what? She will chase me with her crutches?!" The black hair boy laughed uncontrollably at Abigail. Suddenly Iva threw her phone towards Mika and it hit his face.

Mika was surprised, he fell butt first on the floor. Abigail and Estella were surprised to see Iva's action. "Kelsey," She said and Kelsey went to pick Iva's phone.

Kelsey leaned into Mika who still on the floor. "You're lucky she didn't whistle for her bodyguard. Now stay away from Abigail or she will end you... Socially,"

Mika vigorously nodded. He got up and ran away from them. Iva started to walk away and leave Abigail and Estella alone. Iva felt a tug in her heart. Are they together? Iva knows she's nothing compared to Estella.

She's a pop star. Zoe discovered her on YouTube and they dated for a little while until Iva ended it because of the media saying Estella using her for fame.

Iva let herself in pain by ending the relationship for her to have her success. In the process, Estella began to hate her guts. Iva walked into the class with a troubled mind, troubled heart.

What she seen just now really made her... Jealous... Curious. Kelsey noticed her cousin's sudden change. "Are you having a flashback?" Iva shakes her head.

"I know it's just a few months back but... I thought you let it go and moved on." "I did Kelsey. I really did. But..." Estella and Abigail walked in, laughing and smiling.

Iva was waiting for Abigail to sit in front of her but instead, she went to sit next to Estella in the middle of the class. Iva bit inside of her mouth and looked outside. Kelsey smiled.

She's happy that her cousin finally found someone she willing to fight for. But... Estella is not someone people can toy with.

Kelsey still remembers how Estella act after Iva decided to end the relationship without explaining the real reason. She went all sweet to MMA fighter mode.

Estella woke up with a troubled mind. Thinking of a way to avoid Iva but when she arrived today, she feels really happy because of Abigail. Now, she finally can ask Abigail to hers.

She's been keeping this feels far too long. Whatever she felt for Iva died when Iva say the words to end it with her.

Estella knows Iva has feelings for Abigail. She knows her too well. But she determines to act first before Iva did. Knowing Iva, she will not make the first move.

She always keeps it to herself. But, better safe than sorry later. Estella swears will make Abigail remember how fun it is for them both to do things together. Just like old times.

Estella took a little peek to Iva who always sits at the back of each class. Like always Iva looked outside. But when Iva turned, their eyes met and for that very second.

Estella could see the hurt in Iva's eyes. Miss Ocean entered and began the class. Abigail was too engrossed in taking notes she's not paying attention to her surroundings.

When she looked up, some of the students stared at her. Is it because of Estella sitting next to her? Abigail ignored everyone throughout lunch.

Estella asked Abigail to sit with her and her friends. Abigail agreed and followed Estella to the cafeteria.

"Let me introduce you to Da Vinci Academy grouping." Estella chuckled. "First up, the geeks," Estella smiled and introduces Abigail to the geeks.

They all smiled at them. "Next... The goths and emos," They all raised their hands to Estella. Estella introduces Abigail and one of the emos actually gave Abigail a black lipstick.

"This is the jocks and cheerleaders. Well, as you may know, the popular table and so on." Estella stopped at the popular table and they all greeted her.

Abigail was so surprised to see how friendly Estella is. Abigail noticed Arnold sitting next to a very, very beautiful blonde cheerleader.

"Perfect timing, that's my sister, Abigail. But we call her Ash." The girl turned and smiled at Abigail. "Hey. I'm Alessa."

She offered her hands to Abigail. Abigail shakes her hand and smiled. "Abigail." They let go and she went to sit back next to Arnold.

"Now we're going to my table, the art freaks." Abigail followed Estella to the loudest andtThe colorful table in the cafeteria. "Our queen has arrived."

A guy said and they all chuckled. "How's Vegas?" One of them asked.

"Vegas is Vegas." Estella introduces Abigail to her friends and one of the girls offered a seat.

Estella went to sit next to Abigail and asked her friends what's the special today. "Meatloaf, also that chicken salad. I'm not sure the other one. That's Iva's favorite."

One of the girls hit his shoulder. "I mean. That bitch."

"Beef Bourguignon?" Estella asked and the guy nodded. "So what do you wanna eat? I'll take it for you." Estella asked. "Never mind. I know what you like." Estella smiled.

Minutes later Estella came back with a tray of food. "French style scrambled egg," Estella said and placed it in front of Abigail. Abigail smiled.

Estella still remembers her favorite all these years. "And a glass of watermelon juice," Abigail started to eat and her eyes wander to an empty round table in the middle of the cafeteria. Q

"Why is that table empty?" "Oh, that's Iva's table." The girl next to Abigail leaned in. "It's specially imported from Turkey." "That's just a rumor."

"Well speaking of the devil." Abigail turned and she noticed Kelsey walking in. Soon Iva entered with her face probably in anger. Abigail squinted her eyes to looked at Iva's hand.

Abigail's eyes widen when she noticed it's all bruised up. Kelsey went to sit at the roundtable and soon a couple of women walked towards the table.

"What are they doing?" Abigail asked. "That's the Billion's maid. Billion's have their own gourmet chef in the school that only cooks for them."

"No one ever sits on that table except...."

"Except me," Estella smiled at Abigail. "She's my ex." Abigail looked at Estella. "You dated her?" Estella smiled at Abigail. "It's nothing. She ended it. I hate her now."

Abigail wrapped her arms around Estella's shoulder. "I'm sorry." Estella chuckled. "Why are you sorry?" Abigail shrugged and rested her head on Estella's shoulder.

Estella feels really happy by Abigail's gesture. "Hey. How about later we go somewhere." "I can't. I have to go to the hospital." "I can send you. I have my own car now."

Abigail chuckled and nodded. "Sure. I can tell Arnold later." Abigail stayed unwrapped her arms and continued to eat again.

Iva watched every move Abigail did. Her heart hurts. It really, really hurt. Maybe she deserved it. She hurt Estella heart before. And now it's her turn. Little did Estella know she's hurt as well.

But she did it for Estella's privacy. "Iva.," Kelsey called out and turned to the direction Iva looking at. Kelsey sighed. "Let it go. Maybe she's not yours." Iva turned to Kelsey. "What?" Iva asked dumbfounded.

"Don't be dumb. I know you're in love." Kelsey smiled and thanked the maids for the food. Iva looked at her food and sighed. She begins to take small bites of her food.

Kelsey smirked. "Since Zoe will be on tour and Estella will be her opening act, maybe that's the time to seduce her."

Iva looked up. "Estella going on tour?" Kelsey shrugged. "I'm not sure. But somehow I feel she will." Iva turned too looked at Estella and Abigail.

"Let them be, they’re perfect for each other." Iva sighed and swallowed her food. Kelsey turned to look at Abigail and Estella. "Iva.."

"Stop. I'm not in love." Iva herself am not sure what she's feeling.

Is it love? Or just... Jealousy. Iva's eyes widen at what she watches. Estella just kissed Abigail's cheek and from how Abigail reacted, she holds the same feelings like Estella did.

That seriously hurt Iva's feelings a lot. She felt like she's being rejected. But she knows, she's nothing compared to Estella. "Wow... They're official. I'm sure of it." Iva sighed.

"Thanks for the info, Kelsey." Iva raises her hand and a maid came to her. "I want some lemonade mix with beer. Add some barley in them." The maid nodded.

"You're drinking beer? At school?" Iva shrugged.

"Your mother the principal, my aunt. It's fine. She's not even here." The maid came back with a glass of lemonade looking liquid.

Iva drink it all in one go. Kelsey just watched her cousin drinking her heart out. Iva placed the glass hard and the whole cafeteria turned to silence.

Even Abigail turned to her. Abigail can feel her stare piercing through her skin. But Estella arms around her keeping her safe. Abigail smiles at Estella and turned again to meet Iva's eyes.

Iva noticed Alessa, the cheer captain and family friends to the Billion family. "Hey, Kel... Iva." Kelsey smiled at her sister. "Yes?... Anyway... Nice new boyfriend. He's Abigail's brother right?"

Alessa nodded. Alessa turned to Iva. "Iva... Umm... Arnold has a question for you." Iva gestured for her to bring Arnold to her. Alessa turned back and nodded at Arnold.

Abigail watched as her brother walked towards the 'forbidden' table. Iva looked up to Arnold. "Hey. Remember me?" Iva nodded.

"Can I please, please look at your collection of a sports car? Alessa told me about it all when she had dinner at your place." Iva looked at him. "I know I'm not allowed to be at the Billion private properties..."

Arnold took a deep breath. "But seeing these cars live will make this little boy inside me really happy," Arnold said as if begging.

"These cars belong to Paxton, my brother. You can come by around 6 today. He's usually home by then. Alessa can show you the way to the property. Please avoid any of your pictures taken by the paparazzi."

Kelsey smiled at both of them. "I'll inform the guards of your arrival," Kelsey said and looked at Iva who now watching Abigail's and Estella again.

Arnold noticed and leaned in. "If you want to know my sister, just say hi. She will always say hi back." Arnold said and walked away with Alessa.

Iva sighed and focuses on the task at hand. Surviving school for today...

After school, Estella waited for Abigail at her car. They promise to meet at the place they meet this morning.

Estella waved at Abigail. Abigail waved back and walked towards Estella. Abigail studied the car Estella leaned at. Estella noticed Abigail looking at her.

"I am a famous pop star yah know." Estella chuckled and opened the door for Abigail. "This looked like one of those cars rich people own."

Abigail said when Estella got inside. "It's just an Acura NSX. Normal car." Estella begins to drive towards the hospital.

"Which hospital?"

"Billion specialist hospital," Estella nodded and focus on the road. Abigail watched every detailed at Estella's feature. Her jawline, butt chin, nose, ears, luscious lips and even her perfect hazel orbs.

She's perfection. Now she remembers why she falls in love with Estella. Her heart is pure, her voice is mesmerizing, and her charming smile never fails to make her heart melt.

"Oh. The entrance might be a little hard to enter but I can assure you the security will keep them all away from us." Abigail tilted her head.

"What?" Estella turned to the hospital main building. "I mean that." Estella pointed at the entrance filled with people holding their cameras.

"What in the world..."

"Sorry. It's always like this." Estella stopped the car and two huge guys owned the door for the two. Estella went to Abigail side and helped her walked in the hospital entrance. The flashing camera makes it hard for them to walk. Once they're inside, a nurse walked towards them with a wheelchair.

"Hello, Miss Starbust." The nurse greeted Abigail and smiled. Estella followed the nurse to a department and they waited for their turn.

Estella and Abigail were having such an interesting conversation when the nurse called for Abigail's name.

"Um... Can I watch her?" The nurse nodded and led them to a room.

"Welcome back Abigail." Doctor Hamilton greeted them. She knelt down and examines Abigail's leg. "Are you strong enough to do the therapy?" Abigail nodded.

"Maybe you can help me too. It's always a good thing to let close friends and family helping in the healing process." Estella nodded.

The doctor wheel Abigail to a walker and Estella helped Abigail to stand. The doctor went to Abigail's other side and helped her walked towards the walker.

"Miss, stand behind her." Estella stands behind Abigail. The doctor took Estella's hands and placed it on Abigail's waist.

"You will support her this way." The doctor smiled and let Abigail start walking. Abigail was too distracted because of Estella's hand on her waist.

She suddenly feels hot and bothered. "Relax.." Estella whispered and Abigail melted into her arms.

Abigail is now sure about her feelings to Estella. Her love towards Estella is growing stronger. Estella feels the same way too.

But suddenly Abigail's mind wanders to Iva. How will Iva feel about this? Abigail herself was not sure why she's thinking of someone she just met yesterday.

What is this feeling Abigail feels?
