Lilith's POV
The loud knocking on my door woke me up. For a bit, I enjoyed the warmth of my blankets. The quietness was nice compared to the tapping. But the knocking kept going stronger and steady. Complaining, I swung my legs over the bed, my feet touching the cold wood floor.
“Okay, okay, I’m coming!” I said, feeling annoyed as I walked to the door.
Ronan’s friendly face welcomed me when I opened it. He was smiling with a confident look with three serious men in dark clothes behind him. They stood straight, their eyes wide and careful.
“Good morning, My Queen,” Ronan said, nodding a little. His voice was nice, but there was a quick need beneath it.
“What's happening Ronan?” I frowned, my face showing confusion. “Why are you here so early?”
Ronan pointed to the three men with him.
