Chapter 22
Tyler kissed Jarod’s forehead. A smile crossed Jarod’s face.
“Are you awake?”
“Yeah.” Jarod stretched.
“Come on. Let’s get up and eat something.”
“Why don’t you stay here and snuggle?” Jarod wrapped his arms around Tyler’s waist.
As perfect as the invitation sounded, Tyler fought it. “I’ll snuggle when we’re done.” He knew Jarod was still hurting and would be fine starving himself for the time being. Tyler couldn’t allow it.
When they finished eating and put away the last dish, Jarod held out his hand. “Let’s go back to bed.”
Fingers entwined, they made it to the bedroom where Jarod collapsed back onto the bed. Tyler climbed in and wrapped his arms around Jarod from behind, positioning his hands over Jarod’s heart and pulling him close. Sharing their warmth, Jarod’s body
