Chapter 14 “Come on. Let’s go in. It’s getting chilly.” Tyler studied Jarod’s face in the interior light. He couldn’t help but notice the sadness in Jarod’s eyes or the reason for it being there. Tyler understood how hard it had been for Jarod to hear that Tyler wasn’t ready for them to move in together. He wanted to live with Jarod, but now wasn’t the right time. It had been a hard decision, but he knew it was the right one. He wasn’t even taking into account all the reasons he should’ve answered with a flat out no. He decided, after a lot of thought, he would give it a try, regardless of the fact he was on the run. He wanted to give them a chance, and he would. Just not yet. He got out of the truck and followed Jarod inside. Jarod’s slouched posture was just another sign of his pain. P
