Two days later, Jarod continued to curse himself. He sat at the nurses’ station, taking care of some paperwork, remembering what’d happened with Ty. He hadn’t meant to be so rude or to criticize Ty’s home. Jarod knew that apartment was all Ty could afford. All the more reason for him to move in with Jarod. He could handle the mortgage as he always did, and Ty could save money. Maybe the money was Ty’s excuse, instead of telling Jarod he didn’t want to move in with him.
