At five A.M. on Christmas morning, Tyler woke up even beating the sun. He tried unsuccessfully to go back to sleep. Then after staring at the ceiling for over thirty minutes, eagerly waiting for Jarod to stir, he gave up and got out of bed. He might as well get something done. In the kitchen, he considered the choices he had for breakfast. With all the fruit, Tyler decided on stuffed French toast. The fact it was Jarod’s favorite was a bonus.
