"Welcome!" I nodded at the librarian's greeting. She was a young woman with plump lips and the most beautiful smile.
Patrick didn't bother answering as he walked ahead of me into the magnificent library.
Slowly, I made my way in, following after him, taking in the beauty of the place.
There were several rows, each labeled according to the genre of books they housed-academics, fantasy, sci-fi, romance, teen fiction, children's books, and more.
I arrived at the romance section and traced the rows with my fingers as the intoxicating scent of books filled the air. Gosh, I love reading!
Unlike most people I know, I found my home within the pages of a book. The
