THAT NIGHT AND THE following morning were full of frantic activity. Ryan had managed to restrain Phelps, and immediately, the man began to hurl menaces and big names left and right. Ryan didn’t bother to listen to him. By the time Adam came out with Diane, Nick had already annihilated all the guards. Besides the men Adam had killed, everyone else was alive and secured, ready to be sent to prison.
Ryan verified every prisoner, intent on finding the one who had hurt Kate. He wanted him so badly that he could taste revenge. Yet, his wish remained unfulfilled. Adam had already taken care of him.
