Chapter Four

559 Words
"Okay...", Aled noticed that he is breathing deeply. "Alright", he closed his eyes and opened them quickly because he felt embarrassed to notice that he is breathing deeply and closing his eyes in a dramatic way. "What the hell, Aled, pull YOUR BLOODY SELF TOGETHER", he taunted himself. But nothing worked. He already started nervous sweating! His heart was racing faster every moment. "God, oh God", Aled told in his head, "She is coming. Jassie is coming", he breathed deeply again, "She is going to be here, right here, in my very office", he felt like choking by now, "I am going to find...", Aled suddenly got the grip. He became able to come back to his senses a little. Well, Jassie is just a new employee who is going to meet her boss to get the directions for starting her first day at work. There is nothing to be so panicked over HER. He thought. "Good, you're breathing better. See? Nothing to panic about at all! Just be the billionaire boss, that's all", he talked himself to sense. To rationality. To reality. But in a minute the cyclone came all over again. "Okay, okay, fine. I surrender. I am so into this person. I feel about her. I crave her presence. And this time I will feel her presence well. I will see her properly this time and remember her face. Ahem, ready?" The door opened and Aled held his breath. It seemed to him that even the opening of his door is different today. It's so smooth and light, graceful and magical. It felt like it was no door, it was a portal opened from the Harry Potter or the Chronicles of Narnia. Jassie stepped in. The moment her feet touched the floor, Aled forgot to look at her. He did not know when he looked at his own feet. His head hanged down behind the desk.  "Good Morning, Mr. Jay", Jassie spoke. And the sound of the Air conditioner, and the laptop and the vaporizer, and the vague chirping of the birds outside of the window all fell to a silence. Aled hurried and held a bundle of papers covering his face. "Morning, Miss Jazie. Welcome. Miss Olivia will show you to your desk...I mean office...Ahem..well, would you wait outside, please?", Aled decided not to embarrass himself anymore blabbering. He just wanted her to leave the place safely. He needed to breathe.  "Most definitely, yes", Jassie spoke and walked away. Her footsteps kept echoing inside Aled's head. He is so upset that he couldn't take any note of her. What did she look like? Skin color? Eyes? Dresses? Her voice! Was it soft or bold? High pitched like Ariana or low like Adele? He didn't notice anything to remember later! "Olive, could you come to mine?", he talked on the phone. Olivia was so surprised that Aled discussed a big deal about arranging a whole new office room for some new employee with a strange name. She even wanted to ask some questions but the look in his eyes, urgency in his voice, the gestures he was making with his hands, drawing a mini graph about the office room; Olivia fell speechless and decided to get the works done in the most perfect way she could manage. Something is really really wrong. She thought and left.
