Chapter Six

"Does he know?", Justin's brows were twisted so much, they almost touched each other. "Not about you, yet, no.", Dave replied bitterly. "How are you so sure?", Justin asked with a restless tone. "I made it sure in my own ways. Now stop asking about you. I have bigger problems. I just lost my only job. I have nothing. I am nothing. He always makes me feel like nothing! He and his arrogant decency. His superiority ...", the bitterness became so audible in Dave's voice.  "Relax, Da..." "Don't you tell me to relax", Dave's eyes were burning. "Always. Always. All the time. All I can remember since I was a child, it was always him. Always getting everything, all the rewards, all the recognitions, all of it!", his frustration and anguish were increasing by the moments, "ALL OF IT!", he shouted at the top of his voice, his hands fisted, face lifted towards the ceiling. "I understand how you fee..." "Oh, do you? How could you ever? You don't know the competition I had to do all my life. My entire life. He was always the favorite to my parents even though I was the real child...!", David hanged his head. "Always the best, always the good, always the top, always the...", he lost his words. "Give it a little time. We must fix this problem. This product is what keeps my economy alive, your economy alive. You are his relative. You will talk to him and he will listen. I am the mere business partner, I mainly sponsor. He couldn't listen to me and also I won't risk letting him know that I am the source of this product. We are both beggars if we can't continue supplies. How can I handle the clients? They will kill me. So..." "Oh, you still own a bloody company to survive the crisis. What about me, Justin?", asked Dave furiously. "You know very well my business is a loss. My company can't serve me for long. There is not much difference between you and me without our special business...If only this bastard did not exist...If only.." "Then I would actually own what rightfully is mine...", Dave's voice sounded indifferent and lost in a distant thought. Like he was speaking to himself. "What do you mean?", a clear trace of curiosity in Justin's voice. "What?", Dave came back from his trance of thought. He blinked his eyes. "You just said something about rightfully yours?", Justin is more curious now. "When? What are you talking about?", Dave understood he mentioned something he shouldn't. He shouldn't speak mindlessly like this. "Come on, you just said it. You know what you meant", his curiosity increased even more now that he caught Dave trying to dodge. "I had the most difficult day. I lost my only source of finance to survive. I am not even a job person, and even if I were, I wouldn't job hunt like the fresh graduates. Yet I have a family to feed and the number of my bills isn't getting any smaller...I am in a trauma. I need to rest. I will be around soon", he stood up from the chair and walked away without giving Justin any more chance to talk. "Running away, are you? Why?", Justin whispered.
