An Unforgettable Experience

Siyi got up early and prepared herself for the re-test of the semester...
"Ray!! Go and drop Siyi at school..."
Ray's mother asked him.
"Omaa!! It's a holiday today... We don't get holidays often...
I want to get more sleep... I won't go to drop her at school...
Moreover, she's not a kid who always needs someone's company...
She can go by herself...
Now don't call me anymore... I'm going to sleep..." answered Ray and went back to sleep.
"Offoo!! This child is so stubborn... What shall I do of him!!"
Ray's mother spoke to herself in an annoying tone.
"Its okay Sungmo!! I can go by myself... Don't worry about me...
I'll leave now... I'm getting late for the re-test..."
Siyi reassured Ray's mother with her words and left for school.
The invigilator distributed the question papers and answer sheets to all the candidates who failed to appear the semester, the previous day and came to take the re-test...
Siyi looked around... The silence of the examination room made her more nervous and she started sweating...
Suddenly Ray appeared in her imaginations and encouraged her by telling,
"Siyi!! Fighting!! Don't let me down..."
When Siyi came back to her sense, she realized that she had to give her best in the examination in order to keep the value of Ray's guidance...
She checked the question paper...
She was happy to find most of the questions from those tutored to her by Ray...
Without wasting a second, she started answering those questions...
It was the first time she felt confident over her written answers...
She was so contented that she ran spritely after finishing her examination just to see Ray...
When she reached the exit gate of the school, she found Ray waiting for her...
Without thinking much, she rushed towards him and clasped his arms tightly...
It was an adorable moment for Ray and his heart palpitated wildly...
However, he controlled his feelings and calmed himself...
After Siyi came back to her sense, she expressed her gratitude to Ray...
"Thank You Ray!!!
Without you, it would have been very tough for me to pass this examination...
Since I owe you now, you can ask for anything to me...
I'll definitely pay you back..." spoke out Siyi.
"I don't want anything from you...
If you really want to pay me back, keep working hard..."
Ray replied to Siyi and started walking towards his home.
"Ray!! Wait for me!!"
Siyi shouted while running behind him.
"I'll definitely work hard... I'll never disappoint you..."
Siyi spoke to Ray joyfully and they both went back home together.
After few days, the results came out...
Ray got the 1st rank in the whole school as he has always been... But to everyone's surprise, Siyi got the 62nd rank...
All her classmates and teachers got shocked by her score in the semester, since her rank jumped from 625th to 62nd.
"Siyi!! How did you manage to get such high rank??
Aaaahh... Did you cheat??"
Kia asked Siyi after knowing her rank.
"Not at all... I scored well because..... "
Siyi kept silent and looked towards Ray with an adorable smile...
She continued,
"Because I worked harder than before... And I didn't score good during my previous examinations because I didn't study properly...
This time, I devoted all my time to studies and hence, I did well in the examination..."
Siyi's friends got a satisfied answer from her... So they didn't bother her anymore...
After returning home, everyone felt happy and cheerful by seeing the improved result of Siyi...
"I knew it... I had already told you...
Siyi would definitely score well if Ray will guide her...
Now tell me... Am I right or wrong??" Ray's mother asked Siyi's granny with excitement.
"Yes! Yes! You are right!!
I could finally see good grades of Siyi...
Ray!! My child!! Thank you so much for guiding my silly granddaughter...
Please take care of her in future..."
Siyi's granny showed her gratitude towards Ray.
Ray smiled and nodded his head...
"Since both our children succeeded, lets celebrate...
Lets go for a picnic..."
Ray's mother suggested everyone.
"I have less work tomorrow...
Lets plan for tomorrow then..."
Ray's father suggested.
"But Omaa!! We have class tomorrow..." spoke out Ray.
"Then ask your teacher for leave...
We are going for a picnic tomorrow... And it is decided...
I don't want any excuses from you..." replied Ray's mother.
Siyi was very excited since she got a chance to spend time with Ray at the picnic...
Siyi went to her room and started selecting dresses to wear for the picnic, but she couldn't find any good dress...
After a few minutes, Ray's mother entered her room...
"Siyi!! I bought a dress for you...
You have to wear this tomorrow for picnic..." spoke Ray's mother handing her a carry bag.
"But Sungmo!! I have lots of dresses...
I'll choose one from these..." replied Siyi generously.
"Siyi!! My child!! It's a golden opportunity for you to impress Ray...
So, don't be reluctant...
Wear this and doll up yourself tomorrow... I know you like Ray... I can also see the affection for you in Ray's eyes...
It's just that he's a bit stubborn like his father...
He couldn't understand his own feelings... It will take time, but one day he'll surely understand his feelings for you...

Ray's mother told Siyi and went down without letting her speak.
Siyi was confused after listening to Ray's mother.
"Do I really like Ray?? Should I wear this dress tomorrow??

The next day, everyone got ready for picnic and waited downstairs for Siyi to come...
"Will someone call her?? It's getting late..." Ray spoke out annoyingly.
Finally Siyi came downstairs...
Everyone stared at her with amazement...
Siyi wore a beautiful white frock with high heels and a white hat on her head... She looked like an angel from heaven...
"Siyi!! You look so pretty today...
My eyes just can't stop watching you..." spoke Ray's mother.
"You look really beautiful..."
Ray's father joined after Ray's mother.
Siyi smiled gracefully after getting praised from Ray's parents...
All of them went for picnic...
On the way.....
Ray secretly stared at Siyi, but was noticed by his mother...
His mother couldn't hold her smile and giggled...
After noticing Ray's affection for Siyi, she tried matchmaking them...
After few hours, they reached at their destination...
Siyi and Ray's mother prepared everything for the picnic beforehand...
Ray's mother and Siyi's granny started gossiping...
Ray went to play badminton with his father...
And hence, Siyi was left alone...
In her loneliness, she kept staring at Ray and got lost in her thoughts...
The more she watched Ray, the more she wanted to get closer to him...
All of a sudden, Siyi heard a sound of a kid shouting for help...
She rushed towards the bushes without being noticed by others and found a child falling inside a pit...
She hastened to find a rope to save the child...
After searching for few minutes, she finally found a thick climber and used it as a rope...
She picked it up and threw one end of the rope into the pit, holding the other...
"Kid!! Don't panic...
Hold the rope tightly and try to get up..." Siyi spoke to the kid.
The kid slowly climbed up holding the rope and got saved by Siyi...
Siyi breathed a sigh of relief after saving the kid...
Suddenly, she stepped on a rock and her right foot got twisted...
She couldn't balance and fell into the pit...
Watching her falling into the pit while saving him, the kid got scared and ran away...
"Aaaaaa....
Aahh my foot!! Its paining..."
Siyi spoke out in pain.
Watching the kid running away while she looked up, Siyi shouted,
"Hey!! Wait!!
Where are you going??
I'm still inside the pit...
Hey!! Listen!!"
But the kid didn't listen to her and went away...
Siyi felt helpless and lied down inside the pit...
"Why am I so unlucky??
Every time I try to help someone, I get into trouble...
Now, what will I do?? I didn't even bring my handphone..."
Siyi spoke to herself in a bothered tone.
After sometimes, her eyes got filled with tears...
"Mwoya (What's this)!!
Why am I crying??
What's wrong with me??
Siyi!! Don't cry... You're a strong girl... Be calm... Don't cry Siyi!!"
Siyi spoke to comfort herself while crying in pain.
But she couldn't control anymore...
She finally spoke out pitifully while whining,
"Ray!!! I miss you... I really miss you Ray!! I'm realizing now how important you are to me...
Even if I have to die here, I want to see you once before dying...
I want to embrace you in my arms...
I want to tell you that I'm in love with you..."
Siyi cried aloud in a painful tone,
"Ray!!! Saranghae (I love you)..."
In the meantime, Ray's mother asked Ray and his father to gather for lunch, while she noticed Siyi was missing...
"Where is Siyi??
Ray!! Did you see her??"
Ray's mother asked him in worry.
"When we went to play, she was sitting with you...
I was so focused in playing that I didn't notice her at all...
When and where did she go??"
Ray's father asked everyone.
Ray thought for a while and rushed to search her...
"Let's go... Let's search for her..."
Ray's mother told everyone.
"This silly girl!! She always makes me worry..."
Siyi's granny spoke out worrying about her.
Everyone went to search for Siyi...
While Ray was searching across the bushes, he observed a kid standing there looking at the bushes...
The kid seemed to be quite scared...
Ray went to that kid and asked him, "What happened to you?? Anything wrong!!"
The kid kept looking at him with nervousness...
Ray found it fissy...
He asked him again,
"If there is something in your mind, you can tell me...
No need to fear...
If you'll share with me, I'll definitely help you..."
The kid finally spoke out,
"Noona (Big Sister) fell into the pit while saving me..."
Ray rushed towards the pit and found Siyi lying there...
He breathed out in relief...
"Siyi!! Get up!!" shouted out Ray.
Siyi opened her eyes after listening to Ray's voice but she still thought it as a dream...
"Ray!! Did you really come??
No! No!! How can Ray know where I am... It must be a dream..."
Siyi spoke to herself.
Ray shouted angrily,
"Are you stupid??
Who told you to come here all alone to save the kid??
Can't you ask for my help??
Do you know how much worried I was??"
Siyi kept staring at him in shock...
Ray repeated in a trembling tone,
"I... I mean... Everyone was worried about you..."
Ray picked up the climber falling on the ground and threw it towards Siyi holding one end tightly...
"Climb up now!!" spoke Ray.
Siyi limped towards the rope and climbed up with difficulty...
After getting up the pit, she kept staring at Ray with affection...
"Lets go!!"
Ray told Siyi.
Watching Siyi limping, he asked,
"What's wrong with your legs??"
"I stepped on a rock before falling down the pit and my foot got twisted...
So, my ankle got sprained... And it's hurting a lot..."
Siyi spoke in a gentle tone.
Ray sat upon his knees, held her foot with his hands and rubbed it gently...
"Aaahhh!! It hurts..." shouted out Siyi in pain.
Ray turned around and spoke,
"Get on my back..."
Siyi raised her eyebrows in shock and told,
"No! No!! I'm very heavy...
Your waist will hurt if you carry me...
I can walk by my own..."
"Don't forget... I already carried you before...
Moreover, you have been losing weight nowadays... So it'll not be difficult for me to carry you..." spoke Ray.
Siyi pulled a long face and stared at him...
Ray added,
"Now stop hesitating and get on my back... Everyone is waiting for you..."
Siyi got on Ray's back and he gave her a piggy back ride...
Siyi felt overjoyed while being carried by Ray... Her heart kept pounding heavily when she looked at Ray's face closely...
"I never observed you so closely...
You look so handsome... You are so caring...
Whoever will get your love would be the luckiest girl in this world...
It would be great if I could be that lucky girl...
But in reality I'm such a dummy who could never receive your love...
How bitter it may be, I need to accept the reality...
Seems like it'll end up as my one-sided love for you..."
Siyi kept on thinking continuously on the way while being carried by Ray.
True feelings for someone are meant to rise eventually... How much we may try, it will never suppress...
Will Siyi be able to suppress her feelings or will she end up confessing to Ray???
