‘Come and eat meat at Maggi’s Welcome back party!
Host: Aunt Maggi.
Venue: Maggi’s room.’
That's exactly what the invitation letter Maggi had given me says. It even looks like she had it written herself.
A sigh leaves my lips as I drop the letter on my chest. I probably won't be attending the party… not because I don't want to honour her invitation, but because I don't even have anything to wear besides my normal clothing which isn't appropriate for any kind of special occasion. I'll only be making a fool of myself if I go, so it's for the best I just forget about it.
It's evening already, and while I'm still glad that I got to clean Kane's blood off the face of the earth, I feel down because of my brother. At least I haven’t heard anyone say he’s been caught. T
