Morning , Stella woke little late due to last night. She get ready really quick to manage the time to reach office without any late.
She reached office on time.
She searched for John. But he wasn’t there. He is not usually a late comer. But today, he is not here now. It worried her.
Then she corrected her mind, ‘why I care! ‘, and get back to her work.
After 10 minutes or so, john appeared. Stella looked at him strangely. He didn’t mind her. It increased her anger.
They involved in their work. Emy called everyone for the meeting.
In the conference room John sit next to her as always.
There M.D discussed what’s their work to complete in this week, which is done with prior and all..
Stella is only half present in the meeting. She was thinking, ‘what happened to him? Why he behaved so strange? Like nothing happened last night.
Suddenly, she felt someone grasping her hand.
“Hey, what happened? What are you thinking of? “, John asked in a low voice. She lost in her thoughts and murmured, “you” in a horrified tone. John took his hand back and said nothing.
After the meeting everyone left the room. Stella sits there, lost in her thoughts and didn’t move. No one noticed her.. When John realised she is not back after the meeting, he went back to the room and saw she sitting in the chair like a statue. He came to her and shook her. She suddenly came back to her conscious and turned to him and looked puzzled.
“What happened to you madam? Why you are so strange today? “
“It’s because of you. “
“Me..? “, John eagered, “what had I done? “
“The last night, what happened, it’s not getting rid of my mind. “
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to kiss you like that, but when you hold my hand like that, I just…, sorry dear“.
The strange feel in her face didn’t changed.
John locked his eyes with hers, she looked at him.
They stay still for few minutes. Stella unknowingly touched his hand.
A strong feeling raised in his blood. He lost his mind and kissed her lips.
Stella stopped him and cried out, “What are you doing? “
“Sorry, ma’am. I am sorry, I didn’t.. When you touched me.. I don’t know what happen to me.. “
Stella didn’t say anything and walked away. She didn’t get any concentration on her work.
John went off the office asking permission. He wanted to stay out of her vision.
Few hours later, Stella couldn’t help anymore. She met Emy and talked about what happened between John and her. She is not crying, not worried but confused.
Emy didn’t respond anything for few minutes and then said, “I will call him”.
Emy called John. He said, “ Ma’am, I am at the coffee shop near the office. “
“Okay, wait there. I am coming there in 5 minutes. “
Emy took Stella with her and reached there in time.
John was sitting in a corner table with his head down on the table.
