Two Face Demon

CHAPTER FIVE

Daniel POV

"I have never come across an omega with a red hair." I said to my beta whom was sitting right beside me in the hall. I was beginning to get bored by the festival and so, I tried to break the silence between us.

The girls displayed at the stage were short of my expectations except for the girl with the red hair. She wasn't exactly different from all other Omega standing at the stage but there was something unique about her eyes that I kept getting some strange feelings within me.

"Which one?" My beta asked, leaning closer to me to see from my view point. His voice tinged with excitement as he spoke. "Do you mean the one with the long dress standing at the far right corner?" He said, trying to point at them but I managed to move his hand away from pointing at them.

"Yeah." I nodded my head. My eyes were fixed on her but it seems she looked uncomfortable. "Something doesn't feel alright," I said with a daunting voice.

"What's the problem?" My beta asked, his voice sounded eager. I adjusted my posture, crossing my left leg over the other, "I can feel my wolf growling..." i was speaking when the Young lady at the stage made an announcement for the bidding to begin.

The bidding started and one after the other, the girls were sold to their masters. The bidding can sometimes take longer time than usual. Especially when the Omegas are good looking, but this time around most of the Omegas weren't so convincing except for the girl with the red hair. Now, it remains the girl with the red hair to be bidded.

"The bid for the last Omega tonight start from $20,000." The MC announced, speaking confidently into the microphone.

She was slightly above others for the bidding price. Maybe because of her beauty. She is indeed beautiful. Bidding for her would be war. I could see most of the bidders already getting their numbers ready.

"$25,000 for her." Said one of the Alpha sitting in front of me. "$30,000," Said another. The bidding gradually increased as most of the Alphas tried to flex their financial muscles for the girl. This was the first time these rich billionaire Alphas are bidding expensively for an Omega. There must be something so special about her.

"$100,000, for her." A bidder boldly said. Everyone turned to see who it was. I was shocked to hear someone bid for an Omega as high as that. And that was the first time. Despite her astonishing looks, she was completely off the hook to be bidded for such huge amount.

I turned also to see who the bidder was and to my greatest surprise, my beta was the one who bid such amount on her. Is he insane? How could he bid for an Omega without my consent.

"What! Are you out of your mind?" I said with a low voice. "I don't have the..."

"Money isn't your problem. Moreover, you said you felt something different towards her..." My beta spoke in a low voice, staring at me with his blue thick eyes. "That was the first time in seven years you have ever felt such. And it could mean, you have found your mate." He added.

I was short of words, confused and looked like a lost child. His confidence baffled me but I guess, she might be worth every penny. I know my beta very well, he hates competition. That could be his reason for bidding with such amount to ward off any competitor.

"$100,000... Any higher bid?" The MC spoke loudly into his mic. "And $100,000 it is. Sold." He said, hitting the wooden hammer on the desk. My beta stood up from his seat, walked through the crowd and got her down from the stage.

All the Alphas were on the floor with their Omega. The Omegas scampered on their feet as they stood beside their master. The Omega with a red hair walked slowly towards me. The more she walked closer to me, the more I could feel a strange aura coming from her. It get stronger as she approached me. Her scent was so strong, I have never felt such in a long time but something isn't right with her scent. It was a mix scent, more like a wolf and the other, I couldn't detect what it is.

And instantly, my wolf began to growl immensely, as if to escape out. I couldn't understand why until the Omega girl stood right in front of me. He became tamed and was swirling softly yet, my heart kept beating fast.

"Take that off." I said with a low voice. She snapped up her head and gave me a cold look. Her eyes were extremely narrow with fear. "I need you to take that off now." I said with high pitched tone. She was startled and I could see the fears in her eyes. My wolf despite tamed kept been unease.

"What?" She asked, looking down on her clothe. Her voice cracked as she spoke.

"That thing." I said, pointing at the necklace on her neck. My eyes gazed at it fiercely.

"I can't." She answered, grabbing the necklace with a tight grip. She took two steps back and stared at me with a worrisome eyes. I took a step closer to her and simultaneously she also took a step back. I had to stop her from taking any further step.

I took a step closer to her but I could feel a strong connection between us. I could feel the sweat on her forehead, her fear and her heart beats. I could feel everything as if it were mine. Our eyes lurked to eachother, I could see her retina changing colors but not the usual that I know. It was something else.

And just as I am about to grab her necklace. Her eyes suddenly went red and blue, her skin changing and the atmosphere completely changed. My wolf began to bark fiercely and all the Alphas in the room began to howl.
