Hanging Out

Mayte     Okay so I am on my way to the spot he said in the text. I had a hard time choosing an outfit but I finally settled on a cute little pink shirt that opens up at the elbows and some nice black stretch bell bottoms that are very comfortable. Along with my white Reebok tennis shoes and pulled my hair into a bun on top of my head. I matched it with light shade of makeup but not to much. Hopefully he will like it.      The walk there is not too long but could be shorter. I manage to make it just in time but I don't see him anywhere. Maybe he got held up or overslept. I hope not I hope he didn't just make me come here for no reason.  As I walk up to the shop I didn't notice in the corner where the big tree is at that he sat there on a blanket. He looked all sweet sitting there. He saw me and gave me a big smile and waved me over.      Once I sat down he handed me a coke. I gladly took it and we just sat in silence until he spoke up. " So tell me about yourself. What do you like to do? Your hobbies your interests?" I just sat there dumbfounded. Not a single word could I form out of my mouth. I don't know what got into me. I watched as he put the coke to his mouth and how the sweat poured down his face. SO FLAWLESS!! He was gorgous but did he see me that way.  "Hello, are you okay?" he said while waving his hand in front of my face. I quickly give him a smile and nod. As soon as I felt comfortable enough I began to talk. "Well, yes I am fine but I really don't think I have any hobbies or interests that you would like. I mean after all I am a girl.", I let out a little laugh and sighed. "So what do you like to do?". I should have seen it coming but I didn't. "Well for starters, I would like to be friends with you? Maybe hang out after school you know I am new here and I think you would be an awesome friend" he says but with a grin as he looks down. I have to admit it stung a little but I am going to be fine I know I will. But I agreed to be his friend and soon I was telling him all about my life and how I had never lived anywhere other than this town. He too began to tell me about his life in detail. And I must say he had a lot to happen to him in his short life already.      We must have talked for hours because before long my mom sent me a text and asked where was I. She even said she needed me to be home by 10 pm. I just sent her a smiley face. Once it reached 5 pm he said he needed to get home now that he needed to do some chores but would text me when he got finished. As we parted I could see a truck up ahead of me just sitting in the road. I wanted to go back the way I had just come from but thought what for.      As I approached the truck, I could see my mom's new boyfriend. She had only been with him for a few months now. But I must say he creeped me out. He gave me a feeling I didn't like. I walked past the truck and continued home. When I got home he was there already. He even told my mom where he saw me and who he saw me with. Even though he didn't know his name. He still told her I was with a boy. My mom was not happy to say the least. But I took what my mom had said to me and let it be. Although I couldn't quite understand why my mom's boyfriend cared so much but he told her how could she let me get off so easy. Well, I will not stand for someone to control me for one and maybe I just needed a drink of tequila or a shot of vodka to cool off. I need to find my good friend and shoot her a text to meet up.      Later that night I told my mom that I was gonna go out with Amanda. She was a good friend. And I also told her I was gonna stay over her house since mom didn't have to work tonight or tomorrow why not. Mom agreed and as soon as Amanda pulled up we were gone. We were going to a party to have fun and clear my mind. Little did I know what would come of it or how it would affect my life in the long run.
