Chapter 26: Nate POV My paws were smacking fresh earth, pushing me to my limits. All I could think about was my mate and pup. I needed to get to Willa before something bad happened. My heart was thumping from the exertion but not from heartbreak. I knew she was still alive. On occasion I would feel a pain in my stomach which concerned me. Willa and I were so tightly bound that sometimes I felt her pain and emotions. I was about to storm across the border into Leonidas's territory when suddenly my mate mind-linked me.
