Epilogue

Today has been a whirlwind. Johnny flew me to New York for his concert tonight and he's made sure I've been pampered all day. The car pulls up to Madison Square Gardens and I'm in awe. There are so many fans lined up around the building just to see them. I'm brought back stage and I immediately pull Johnny into a kiss. "I love you." His grin takes my breath away. They get ready for the concert and I'm shown backstage where I'll be watching the concert. The concert is amazing and towards the end there is commotion back stage as they don't immediately go into their last song like normal. "New York you've been amazing! This last song is dedicated to a very special woman who flew across the country to be here tonight. I love you so much Syd." Tears are already sliding down my cheeks when he starts playing Stand By Me. When the night has come, And the land is dark, And the moon is the only Light we'll see. No I won't, be afraid. Oh, I won't be afraid. Just as long As you stand Stand by me. So darlin', darlin', Stand by me. Oh, stand by me. Oh, stand Stand by me Stand by me If the sky That we look upon Should tumble and fall. Or the mountains  Should crumble To the sea. I won't cry, I won't cry. No I won't, shed a tear. Just as long, As you stand Stand by me. And darlin', darlin' Stand by me Oh, stand by me Oh stand Stand by me Stand by me. Johnny runs back stage and grabs my hand before pulling me back out. The crowd goes wild and my cheeks turn bright red. "Johnny! What are you doing??" He grins at me and squeezes my hand. "Ladies and gentleman, this woman came into my life unexpectedly and it's been a thrill ride ever since. Syd, you're the mother of my son,and I love you so much. I can't imagine spending my life without you by my side..." He gets down on one knee and I suddenly can't breathe. He takes my left hand, my right hand covering my face as tears stream down my face. "Sydney Lynn Draper will you please do me the honour of becoming my wife?" He pulls out a ring and I nod quickly. "Yes, of course, Johnny." The crowd goes wild as he picks me up and spins me around. The band keeps playing, letting us have our moment before the end of the song. When he finally puts me down he doesn't let me go as he finishes singing the song. The crowd goes wild again as we leave the stage. As soon as we're off stage I pull him into a deep kiss. "I love you so much. I can't believe you just did that!" He laughs, his arms around my waist. "Believe it, sweet cheeks."
