The meeting had been over for thirty minutes and I was now sitting alone in my office, rubbing my hands across my face in frustration. We had been discussing what Eli could possibly be up to and also why Dee’s sister and her mate hadn’t shown up yet, but we were still none the wiser. I was now taking care of some pack business before I went to see what Cheyenne was doing, but I couldn’t concentrate on the work in front of me. I decided to skip the work and just go find Cheyenne, when my phone started ringing, making me sigh as I looked back at it. I looked at the caller ID and recognised it straight away.
“Hello Beach, I hope you are doing well today?” I said, answering the phone.
