Delukas pov

Staring at my beautiful mate I hardly realize everyone leaving the room. The king is the last to leave the room and just before he turns out the light he nods to me and I feel a sense of respect from him. I nod back and the lights go off. "Whats going on? They all left." I tell my tiny mate. "They are giving us time to rest. Please Deluka won't you sleep here with me while I recover?" She asks gently. "I would rather be no where else than right here with you Kalista." I tell her smiling and adjusting my hold on her before we both fall into a deep and most comfortable sleep.

Elicros pov

"The princess can't stand us." My wolf says in my head. "She only needs to marry me Alekrus. After that shes good only for baring me a strong male pup then I'll kill her and my father and I will rule." I say without batting an eye. Her father is going on and on about the heritage of the rulers here and how when I marry the b***h I'll give up my last name for hers. I smile and nod as if it doesn't bother me when the mere thought makes me want to rip his throat out. The palace is nice put these servents don't fear the royal family the way they should. When I am king these peasants will shake to their core just catching the slightest wiff of my scent. "Queen Arya I can see now where Kalista gets her exquisite hair." I tell the abhoring woman. "Thank you Elicro you're such a gentleman." She says and we smile at each other. I tried to make my smile as genuine as hers but red hair disgusts me. A quiet brunette who knows her place is the ideal she wolf. I can tell putting Kalista in her place after the marriage is going to be a tedious task. As dinner ends we adjourn to the den where the king continues on about the ridiculous heritage of the palace. I have not marked Kalista so I haven't yet spoken to her. Even though she is quiet now I know she will need to be broken in on our wedding night and I can barely cantain my excitement at the thought of breaking her very spirit. I smile inwardly as I bow to her and the king and queen exiting the palace for my trip back home. Father will be pleased with this outcome.

kalistas pov

As I wake up the weight of a very large arm craddles my waist softly. I place my hand on Delukas chest and the way his muscles ripple under his skin makes me tremble. "Deluka? Are you awake?" I ask him through our mind link. I had no idea how long we had been sleeping or what time it was. Deluka stirred under my touch and his arm tightened gently around my waist as he placed his nose in the crook of my neck and inhaled like he just surfaced from being under water for 5 minutes and his lungs were desperate for oxygen. "Kalista. Please don't take this the wrong way but I'm having a very hard time controlling Ryker right now. He wants to mate you more than anything right now. And your touch only makes it more difficult not to give in to him. I'm going to go find you some food. Do you have anything specific you're hungry for?" I feel my face go hot in reacting to his words and goosebumps wash over my entire body. "Whatever was made for lunch will do. I'm not picky." I say shakily as my breathing increases. As he lifts his arm off my body and stands from the hospital bed the lack of his touch and warmth makes me shiver feeling like I'm freezing. "Deluka?" I ask reaching for him. "Yes princess?" He responds and I can't help but swoon as he calls me by my title. "I'm cold." I tell him sounding sheepish. He wraps me in the blanket on the hospital bed and kisses my forehead passionately. The warmth his kiss brings me is overwhelming. I have to catch my breath and he links me as he leaves the room. "I'll be back soon my princess. Relax here for me ok?" He says in the sexiest voice in the world. "Thank you my prince." I tell him smiling as I feel the door close and his footsteps feel further and further away.

Delukas pov

leaving the hospital room I realize it's almost dark and I've gone the entire day without anything on my body but a pair of shorts. I ask one of the maids where my bags of clothes were brought and she takes me to a room on the second floor. It's smaller than the room Kalista brought me to on the third floor but it works for me. I quickly shower and get dressed in some blue jeans and a green button down shirt before going back down the stairs to look for the kitchen. I spot the maid that came to tell Kalista and I that the king wanted to see us and walk up to her. "I'm sorry but could you show me where the kitchen is? I'm trying to get food for Kalista." I say alittle embarrassed that I couldn't find the kitchen easily. She looks up at me with eyes like saucers then Immediately at the floor and bows to me deeply. "Your majesty please go be with your mate. Food will be brought to both of you shortly." She says in a soft shy voice. I stand there staring at her surprised by what she just called me. "I'm sorry but I don't know if that's really what I should be called. The king doesn't approve of me so-" she cuts me off. "Forgive me your majesty but the king has already begun preparations for yours and her majesty Kalistas corinations. You will both be king and queen of wolves by the time he dies." She says bowing to me once again before turning to walk down a hall. She left me standing there completely shocked. the king hated me last I knew. When I was able to think again I made my way back to the hospital room Kalista is in using her scent. "You should have mated her before we left that room. Her wolf wanted it and so did she. We both smelled it!" Ryker growled in my head as I walked. "You need to stop being such a horndog. We are nobility now we need to start acting like it. I don't know about you but I'm not going to embarrass Kalista any further." I say back to him annoyed. He huffs in my head just as I open the door to Kalistas hospital room and see that food has already been brought to her. I smile happily to see her eating like the princess she is. "Hey princess. I have a surprise for you."
