Eva was ecstatic to be reunited with her family. She kept a watchful eye on her siblings, determined to keep them safe from Tina's grasp. Eva couldn't believe that Tina had managed to trick them all. She realised that Tina was far more cunning than she had initially thought.
"Daddy, where is mummy?" Eva's ears perked up as she heard her younger sibling's question. She noticed the sadness in her father's eyes as he tried to come up with an answer. Eva knew it wasn't the right time to tell them the truth.
"Your mother is away on a business trip, but she'll be back soon," he replied, trying to sound as reassuring as possible.
Just as the atmosphere began to tense, the Alpha burst through the door, looking cross about something. Eva was relieved to see his face soften when he saw the twins.
