We stood in the dungeon. All eyes were on my father. All eyes showed disgust. He had threatened my home. Killed my mother. She didn't die as I thought. He had placed my friends in danger. their home in danger. I couldn't speak just yet, but Regan knew what I needed. He knelt in front of my father, Marcus to me now. "What do the vampires want with Tani?" he asked him kindly but his face displayed all of the contempt the felt. Marcus shook his head. "You won't understand. Too young." Regna rolled his eyes. "Try me." "She is the answer to an old prophecy and she will let them day walk." My gasp was audible. Day walk. that is the last thing they need to be able to do. Even in small numbers they could wipe out the humans and put a dent in the lycans. This was not good at all.
