In The Present But Reliving The Past

The air feels thick,I feel lost, alone. The dust is heavy the ground is cold Where am I? I’m stuck and there is no one to be seen. My left foot is trapped under a circular small stone. The way that I am looking at it, it looks like a small sized bolder I could be wrong though. I have screamed and shouted for help numerous times but I haven’t seen anyone. All I can see is the wrecked town hall that was once a lovely white building with white peonies in rectangled plant pots outside on the windowsill. I can smell something burning. I can hear something ringing in my ear and I feel like I am being strangled by someone. Before I know what’s happening I start to feel drowsy and then my eyelids start opening and closing slowly and then all I can see is blackness.  *Flaskback*  I remember this day like it happened yesterday. I went to my mum’s room before I came to a holt when I heard my mum speaking fast and in a language I have never heard her use before. The ten year old me peered around the corner quickly and got a quick glance of what she was doing. She was speaking into something that looked like a phone. As soon as I realised my mum was speaking into  some sort of communication device I decided to leave her to finish the call. I started walking back to my room when the front door to my house got booted down and I heard two voices that were coming close to where I was standing. I was about ready to run away down the long hallway to my bedroom but my mum got a hold of me by the arm and told me to hide somewhere. So I quickly ran to my mum’s room instead to hide under her bed. With my mum hot on my heels we entered the room together and I went straight under the bed. My mum looked at me with her brown eyes and told me to "be quite and don’t leave from under here" she then pulled her covers down as much as she could trying to hide me, but I could still see what was going on. As she was about to exit the room she swiftly ran back in but fell over her own feet and ended up on the floor. She was about to stand up when two men came in and tried to pick her up but she grabbed hold of her bedside tables leg and didn't let go. Both the men tried to drag her by her legs but she didn't let go, so one of the men who had brown hair and green eyes bent down to grab my mum's hand of the bedside table leg but he failed. He then tried again but with the other hand but he pushed my mum's picture of her and a man other than my dad of her bedside table. It hit the ground with a smash. Some of the glass then ended up broken in my mum's side. My mum let go of the bedside table and started letting out sounds of pain. When I was about to come out from under the bed a young boy with blonde hair and baby blue eyes had caught my attention. He was watching my mum get dragged by her legs out of the room with a light blue shiny substance bleeding out from where the glass has enter. When my mum disappeared out of my eye shoot the young boy looked at me with direct eye contact but then quickly bolted out of the doorway and in the direction the two men went with my mum.
