Chapter 4Flashback to October 25 Dan tried to keep his eyes focused on the box of books he was sorting. It was a challenging task with Troy in the shop. Especially now that school had started. Dan had become accustomed to the sight of Troy in workout gear over the summer, but his fall wardrobe of cozy sweaters and pressed slacks was a whole ‘nother layer of allure. This afternoon, Troy wore a light blue sweater and gray slacks, fitted perfectly to his frame. He was settled in the reading corner. Two of his offensive linemen were slouched over textbooks in their chairs. Troy stood behind them, answering questions, and occasionally leaning over to look at something.
