The roots of this struggle, a rivalry between two great American towns, with their success stories, heartbreaks, an urban rivalry of its time, and for all times, with regional and national implications, begins and ends as always with “The People.” The saga continues one afternoon on a train between Milwaukee and St. Louis, by way of Chicago, as fans of the Braves baseball team in June of 1965 travel to the Gateway to the West as the train kept a rollin’ down the track.
