Four years later
Stood still as statues, my troops and I waited out of sight with bows and arrows poised. It was belittling work and how I longed to be finished. The locals in the villages talked of us with exuberant language. Rohene the dashing…Reality was less exciting. Outlawing was as dull as a rainy day in June. With the demise of the forests, my days had become anything but glamorous.
