Time is an abstract concept, and my mind cannot seem to grasp it right now. One second everything was moving at a hundred miles per hour, spiraling out of control. But now, time has slowed almost to a complete stop as I feel gravity taking control. A gasp is lodged in my throat and all sounds of partying and fighting around me are replaced by a thundering pounding of my heart. The entire night is a distant memory as my mind catches up with what is happening. My arms flail out, trying to regain my balance at any cost but that is a lost cause because all that happens in return are people diving out of the way as to not be caught up in my clumsy tidal wave.
