“Thank you Ethan” I said as I hopped into the car after he opened the door for me.
“You’re welcome” he replied as he gently closed the door.
I watched as he turned around to the driver’s side and entered, slamming the door behind him.
I had called him to come pick me up about ten minutes ago, when I bid Theresa goodbye, and here he was.
I quickly pulled out my seat belt and buckled it, while he did the same.
The ride started shortly after, and we were on the road in less than a minute.
