ALYSSA  Pamela and I moved through the busy university hallway, and though she hadn’t said anything, I could feel her gaze lingering on me. Just as I was about to step inside the classroom, Pamela grabbed my arm gently, pulling me aside. I blinked at her, confused, as she led me toward the women’s restroom. “Do you need to use the restroom?” I asked, trying to shake off the anxiety building up inside me.
