“They’re there,” I growled, pacing back and forth in my office. My fists clenched tight, nails digging into my palms. “Brandon, the former Gamma, his new Gamma son, and—” I practically spat the words, “—his daughter. They’re in the Moon Crest mansion right now, visiting Alpha Jerry.”
Simon frowned, his eyes darkening as the realization hit him. “So, our hunch was right. The Gamma family wants their daughter to be the new Luna too.”
I nodded sharply, my jaw tight with anger. “Of course they do. They’re trying to show they care for Alpha Jerry, just like we predicted. They think their connection will sway him.”
Simon slammed his fist onto the arm of the chair, his voice rising with fury. “No way! We won’t let that happen!”
