Chapter Thirty-three

1612 Words

Siara's POV “If he is really alive, then why did he not come to see me?” I asked while trying to hold back my tears. “He is sick,” King Alduin replied with a heavy tone. “What kind of sickness will make him abandon me for five years?” I asked with my voice laced with anger. “On the day of the vampire attack five years ago, he lost his memories,” he replied. It took me a while to process everything he just said. “He forgot me?” I asked, and the tears that I had been holding back finally flowed down my cheeks. “He has been staying with me in my palace, you can see him whenever you visit Azurethra,” he said. I felt both happy and sad. I was happy that he was alive and I could meet him again, and I was sad that he wouldn't be able to recognize me or remember all the beautiful memories
