I sat eating my burger and I have to say it was mouth watering. I was half way through a mouthful when I heard.
“Hi Ashley?,
I looked up and there stood Bill and a women, who I assumed was his wife.
I swallowed my mouthful, “ Hi Bill,” as I smiled at him.
“Ashley I would like to introduce my wife Debbie to you,”
“Hi Ashley it’s so lovely to meet you my dear.” She smiled at me.
“Hi Debbie like wise.” I replied.
“Ashley did you manage to book in the motel.” Bill asked.
“Uh no I’m afraid not, the man at the desk said it was fully booked for the next 2 weeks.” I sighed and looked down. “I don’t know what I’m going to do, I need to find a job, maybe I need to move on.”
