*Her Birthday And My Mate* Chapter 16

I wake up with this urge and I smell this strong scent of vanilla and roses, I can't figure out where it's coming from so I sit up and notice that Jackson isn't here. "Jackson?" He then comes out of the bathroom all of a sudden I hear "MATE!" Jackson smiles and before I could say anything I jump up off of the bed and run right into his arms, with him falling to the ground.

" what the hell princess?" 

" Mine!" 

" yea babe I know I'm your boyfriend but you didn't have to knock me down!" 

" no MATE!" 

Then I remembered it's her birthday, she places her head and she's just taking in my sent. I smile and my wolf also saying the same thing he's going crazy and he's happy that we completely have our mate. I get up from the floor pulling her with me her eyes turn a bright purple brighter than usual, that's telling me her wolf is taking over. she closes the space between us with my wolf also taking over. Then we were interrupted by a knock at the door. 

" come in we both said." 

both our fathers come in and see our eyes, then they look at each other. "well I guess we should say hello to the new Alpha And Luna of the red stone and the silver wing pack," her father stated. "I take it that we interrupted you to mating huh." my father says as he's looking at us while Rain tries to calm her wolf. Ah, I'm going to head to the bathroom Rain says with her face flushed. 

" ok Princess ill see you in a little bit." 

" um, and what brings you guys to our room?" 

" well we wanted to talk to you about her party you said you wanted to do but seeing as though it's going to have to be a birthday party/ Mating party." her father says with a laugh. 

" so what do we do now? I want to wait until tonight to mark and mate with Rain."

" well, son it may not be that easy, seeing as though you to almost did a few moments ago." 

" Well, dad I think we can manage it and also Rain and I wanted to talk to both of you." 

" well, I guess we will talk to you in your "office" when you two are ready."

" ok as soo as Rain gets out the shower we will meet you two there. I'm going to wait for her to finish up." 

" ok son we will see you then, but you do know you can go to the office alone right?" 

" I know that dad, it's just I can't stand to be away from Rain."

" Ahh the bond, the pull, and the feelings I most definitely know how that feels Jackson, your just gonna have to work through it just as I did." 

Then they walked out, I walked over to my closet next to Rains and I grabbed a purple sweater seeing as it is winter. I grab a pair of black jeans and my timberlands. I get dress and then sit on the bed and wait for Rain to come out. 

about 45 minutes she comes out in her towel my wolf goes nuts so I tell him to calm down that we have to wait and he whines. She looks at me and smiles as she goes to her closet. 

                                                  Rain's p.o.v

I walk out the bathroom seeing Jackson sitting in a chair on his phone waiting patiently for me to finish as I walk to my closet to get my clothes I smile at him and he smiles back at me seeing that he must be fighting with his wolf as I am doing with mine. I grab a purple sweater that shows a little bit of my belly, a pair of black jeans and my black timberlands. I then walk to the dresser and grab matching bra and panties along with socks and put everything on the bed. Jackson is just watching me as I get dressed, not in a creepy or stalker way. it was a loving lustful way, " Jackson are you ok?" " yea babe, you're just so beautiful that's all." Once I finished I put my hair in a messy bun and then we walk out and head to the office, well Jacksons office to talk to our fathers.

" Hi, daddy and uncle Jake!" 

" Hi honey it feels like I haven't seen you in forever."

" Hey, my little sunny." 

Jackson and I walk to the desk his father moves and motions Jackson to sit in his soon to be chair and stands next to him. Jackson pats his leg for me to sit in his lap, once I do we start our meeting with our parents I asked that Jackson's mother be there also but she had things to do seeing as she is a luna for the time being. I began speaking while Jackson puts his head in my neck taking in my sent. 

" Well, Jackson and I were wondering about where you two plan on going, Once Jackson and I take over the packs.?"

" Well, hun I'm not sure at the moment why do you ask?" 

pausing for a moment with Jackson still nuzzled in my neck he looks up and starts talking finally. " well the reason why we ask is that we were wondering if you guys wanted to stay in the other packhouse so it wouldn't be empty, you won't be bothered and the only time anyone would come over is when Rain needs to go to her office."

" Well, Jackson I was gonna see if I could change the room next door for my office?" 

" Well that sounds great to me, we will get everything set up for you then babe." 

" So what do you both think about living in the packhouse, you will be able to have your space and we will have people working in the packhouse the same as ours, and if you want you can always pick a floor to your self, we just want to have a few warriors with you just in case." 

" Well, son I will talk to your mother even though I know her answer." 

" And my honey I would love that you and your uncle is all I got. I want your room on the second floor if that isn't a problem." 

" Ok daddy we will have that set up for you as soon as your ready." 

" Now as for my beta I want Izzy and for my second and third you can choose." 

" Ok babe I will let Izzy know of the news and I will get right on finding them and come to you and see what you think." 

" Ok Jacks and oh make sure Ashley isn't one I don't trust her, she gives me a bad feeling."

" Ok, babe I will make sure." 

With that, we stand up and say goodbye to our parents to go to make preparations for the mating celebration. it kinda sucks I can't celebrate my birthday.

                                                              Jackson's p.o.v

As we walk to our room I notice Rain is a little down so I stopped us from walking. " Princess are you ok you seem down?" " Yea Jacks I'm ok just a little tired but we have a lot of work to do." then we started walking again. I mind link Izzy to come to our room while Rain is in the shower. just thinking about the look on Rains face made me upset I believe this is about her birthday so I'm going to have Izzy set something up for rain during the mating celebration. I was brought out of thought with Mark and Izzy knocking on the door. 

" Hey guys first things first, Izzy Rain chose you as her beta from now on I am working on her omega and then her third. now to why I asked you to come, I want to come up with something to connect with the mating celebration, making it a surprise for her. we then we stop talking as the bathroom door open, I then notice that Rain came out in her towel forgetting she was in the shower I then growl at Mark who looked my accident. They then leave to do as I say, then I turn to Rain walking to her and standing behind her taking in her sent and holding her waist my wolf being satisfied as she picks out her clothes she grabs a silk purple dress that comes above her knees a growl a little at the dress she then turns to me. " uh Jacks can i just have this one thing please just today for my birthday?" I sigh in defeat and nod " Ok princess but we are going shopping today I want you to pick out whatever you want that your birthday present from me. I whine due that her father wanted to talk to me about Rain, I didn't want to leave her but he said just me. " Babe I have to go talk to your father I will be back or just meet me in the office, also I have men getting the room next to my office getting it ready for yours so if you want to go and let them know what you have in mind go ahead." I walk in which is mine now to see her father sitting there waiting. 

" hi, Alpha Markus what is it that you wanted to me about?" 

" I wanted to let you know that Rain does not do good with having guards I think that you should pick your best warriors to be her second and third." 

" um ok, I kinda realized that when I first met her and she was calling them Moe and Curly," I started laughing about it.

" yea that would be best just make sure you let them know not to let her know what their real position is." 

I nod and let him know that I was taking Rain shopping so I called Mark and Izzy due to them being our beta's from what I heard Izzy and Rain are the best fighters in their pack. I walk to the door and see Rain swaying side to side on her phone waiting for me. " Hey babe, I missed you." " I missed you to you too forever." she smiled at me with her brightest smile along with her purple eyes. " ok you ready to go, babe, Izzy, and Mark is in the car waiting on us." 

" Why are they coming?" 

" um, babe you are luna now Izzy is your beta now she has to be where ever you are". 

" wait even in the bathroom?" 

" No just when you go somewhere, let's go."

" ok and oh let me let you know you better not give me guards." 

I nod remembering what her father said as we walk to the car with my second opening the door for us to get in and then getting into another car with my third. I link our hands still feeling her a little sad. we got to the front of the mall, my third opened the door to let us out and then I hold my hand out for Rain to get out as we turn we have so many people looking at us and one in particular. 

" Oh look its Princess Rain guys" 

her not paying attention her friends were bowing to me and Rain, she then turned around to see why her friends didn't say a word. 

" No this can't be get up she's nothing I'm the one who should be mated with an alpha, not her!" 

"  Well, I guess the moon goddess doesn't love you the way you thought huh Maddie," Izzy told her.

she then comes towards Rain, Izzy, Mark, Axle, and my third come running up to protect Rain. but it wasn't who she was after, she grabbed my arm and pulled me to her. 

                                                   Rain's p.o.v

When I see that she grabbed Jackson my blood started boiling and the next thing I remember is that I shifted saying, mate and growling at Maddie. everyone looked shocked at my wolf that's when I see Jackson run to me with his hands in the air along with Izzy, Mark, and Axle grabbing Maddie. " Hey babe calm down try to stay calm ok we can't have Sophie resurface." all I could mutter out is 

" MATE." 

                                                         Jackson p.o.v 

" Yea babe I'm your mate just calm down ok." 

Rain rubs her head against my chest, hold my hands out and all of a sudden she shifts right in my arms and Izzy runs up with a jacket and a blanket. I have her sit in the car with Mark but she pushes me aside and looks at a terrified Maddie.

" I'm only going to tell you this once Maddie if you come near me or Jackson again you will regret it, you better not even look our way." 

Maddie nods while she shakes in terror, Izzy comes up to Rain with clothes that she ran inside and bought. after she put them on, we then head into the mall. Rain made me so proud and a mate and an alpha. 

" Hey princess we need to get you feeling and your wolf under control we are luck the mall is closed to all humans today or this would have ended badly."

" I'm sorry Jacks I got so angry and I just lost control." 

" Its ok princess it wasn't your fault, but one thing is for sure you made me the happiest Alpha and mate with taking the matters in your own hands." 

I hear Izzy laughing behind us about what happened and then we all joined in too. Izzy leaned that when its time for business she has to act as Rain's beta and Mark has been my beta for a very long time. I signal Mark and my third to come with me and I have Izzy and Axle go with Rain because she doesn't have her second or third yet I hand her a card with her name on it. I had got a joint account when I first found out she was my mate. 

" Princess ill meet you at the food court in an hour." 

" Ok Jacks."

" Izzy, Axle if anything call or mind link me if you need me, protect your luna the best you can." 

they nod in understanding, we all go out separate ways, I wanted to go to the jewelry store to pick up the things I ordered this morning. 

                                                          Rain's p.o.v

I watch Jackson walk his direction as I go to mine with Izzy and Axle behind me, hey guys I wanna go in here. We stop at victoria secret, Axle said hell no he wasn't going in the store as I laughed I told him to stand by the door and Izzy came in with me. "Hey, Izzy help me pick something out please".

" Yea and what is this for exactly?" 

" Izzy you know why, but tonight is different I want it to be special though." 

" oh ok." 

she's smerking as she looks around, she sees this purple lingerie, it was strapless with silver stripes on the sides with matching boy short panties. I instantly fell in love with it. then I grabbed some soaps and lotions along with some bras and panties. We went to the register with Izzy behind me as I paid for my stuff. we then walk up to Axle and start walking as Axle falls in line next to Izzy, I want to go in here so we walk into Hollister I grabbed so clothes and stuff. 

" um, luna its time to meet alpha Jackson now," Axle spoke 

I get excited hearing that and nod, as we walk to meet Jackson some guy grabs me. I try to get away but he wouldn't let go of me. 

" You need to get off my luna's hand at once1" Axle and Izzy said at the same time.

" oh, your luna huh well to bad your alpha isn't here to save his little mate huh?" 

" actually her alpha is here and I'm going to ask you nicely to let go of my mates arm now." 

I'm feeling discussed at this wolfs sent and touch, the next thing I know he pulls me close to him putting his face in my neck, I look at a very furious Jackson his eyes was the same wat when we had the treatise party. my wolf is going crazy for Jackson, but then the guy did the unthinkable he kissed my neck then asked if I wanted to go with him. 

" Hey little luna you want to come with me, I can put you big bad alpha to shame." 

he's slowly rubbing up against my body, Izzy, Axle, Mark, and Jackson ready to shift, Jackson with gritted teeth and his fist was bolled turning white. 

                                                        Jackson's p.o.v

As this guy is holding my mate, my princess I'm getting extremely angry, my eyes turning Izzy, Mark, Axle, and I was ready to shift at any moment. then he set me off once I see him kiss her neck, I then she a tear fall from Rain's eye as shes touching her. " keep your hands off her now I'm only going to ask you nicely to let her go." 

" well look didn't your mother teach you how to share, I mean purple eyes she must be a rare she-wolf huh."

" Basterd I will never do something like that to my mate SHE'S MINE!" 

" Well, then I guess ill just take her in front of you!" 

Next thing I know he pulls a gun and puts it to Rain's head, then Mark and Izzy's shifting coming up to my side slowly walking towards him I had to let them know to be careful because he has Rain. 

" Rain baby its ok don't worry." 

" Jacks please I'm scared." 

" Oh that's your name, Rain my my my little Rain." 

As he says her name he's lifting her shirt with the gun showing her body, I began to growl at him once he touches her chest. Rain crying harder than before. I then run towards him as Izzy and Mark run behind me with Axle running to grab Rain so she's not in the crossfire. we attack him and his friends. I mind link Axle and brian to take Rain to the car, Brian grabs our stuff and run along with Axle to the car. 

Izzy, Mark, and I come out of the mall with this dirty bastard and put him in the car with Axle and Brian. I get in the car with Rain shes sitting in the car with her knees to her chest crying looking out the window. she stayed that way the whole time as we drive, I tried to touch her and she flinches. We arrive at the house Axle opens the door of the car to let us out and I tell him to put the bags in our room. Rain gets out the car with tears still in her eyes she walks past Izzy, Mark, and I and heads straight into the house. I think we need to reschedule the Mating celebration. Mark nods and so does Izzy so I tell them to get the word out and not tell anyone why I have Brian take the dirtbag to the cells. 

I walk up to our room looking for Rain noticing the bathroom door is closed. I call to her but she didn't answer. 

                                                             Rain's p.o.v 

I head straight to the shower and turn it on as hot as I can to wash his dirty touch and smell of me I end up sitting in the bottom of the shower crying I hear Jackson calling me but I couldn't answer him due to me crying. I'm sitting with my knees to my chest. I then hear the door open and see that its Jackson standing on the side of the tub my skin red from me scrubbing. he turns the shower off and wraps a towel around me and lifts me up bridal style then sits me on my side putting the bags on the floor and grabbing one of his shirts and putting it on me. I then lay there crying he pulls the blanket over me and pulls a chair next to me and just stares at me. 

" Princess please talk to me I'm hurting." 

all I do is roll over curled up in a fetal position. 

                                                            Jackson's p.o.v

It's hurting me seeing her like this, I keep trying to talk to her all she does is cry we spent the day in the room I told Mark and Izzy that we will be in the room for the day and to bring lunch and dinner to our room. 

" Baby, can you look at me and say something please?" 

still no answer I go to touch her but she cries harder and it angers me even more. I turn the tv on watching one of the shows we started watching on Hulu while sitting in the bed with her, I look over to see shes sleeping. someone knocks on the door I see it a little past lunchtime so it's probably Mark or Izzy so I get up and open the door to see Izzy standing there with the tray with our food. " how's she holding up?" " shes sleep right now, she's not talking though." " maybe I can talk to her when she wakes up." " yea that would be good." I then walk back to the bed and continued to watch my show I'm not really hungry I'm just worried about my princess. as I watch tv I feel Rain roll over and put her head in my lap, she whimpers lowly so I rub her head to ease her. she then relaxes I need to do something she is my mate I can't let this happen again.
