Chapter 44
I woke up feeling refreshed and I was already lying down on the sofa. There was also a blanket placed on top of me. I was still processing where I was when I heard a familiar voice at my side. “You’re awake now?” I looked up to see Ryan. He was sitting at the other side of the center table. In front is an oval piece of wood. It has several shallow parts. The side of the wood was decorated with a huge painting of a rose. The shallow part of the wood had some shells in there except for the big hole on each side of the wood. I watched as Ryan placed some shells in the holes. “I didn’t dare to wake you up earlier since you looked like you were tired. Wait here, I’ll arrange some food for you.” Ryan stood up from where he was sitting and disappeared into the kitchen. I sat up and inspect
