“Always remember, take good care of yourself. No one will look out for you. You need to be tough,” for the nth time, Lola Isma said that with worry etched on her face. She was straightening my clothes before she proceeded to continue packing my things. I still don’t understand much of what was happening. All I know is that somewhere along with the conversation earlier, everyone had decided for me to go with the Archangel. So, Lola Isma then went to pack my things in my bag and Mama was clutching Papa’s sleeves as she bawled her eyes out. They didn’t have the time to explain things to me.  “Lola, tell me what is happening? Where am I going?” I finally asked. It was not my intention to raise my voice on Lola.
