As I reclined in the pool, the water enveloping me, I watched Serena reluctantly standing at the edge, her gaze fixed on the crystal clear water as she chewed on her lip.
"Come on in, the water's fine, " I called with an easy smile."I promise I don't bite."
She flashed me a wan look, fingers fidgeting with the hem of her perfect gown.
She tilted her head, golden hair catching the light."I don't know..."
"It's just us here, " I assured gently."You've got nothing to be worried about you know."

I waded nearer and stretched out a hand."Let me help you in."
