SERENA'S POV
I just finished washing my face in my bathroom sink when I heard a strange gurgling noise coming from behind the walls. Frowning, I leaned in closer, trying to discern the source. Without warning, there was an eruption of sound and water burst forth from the base of the toilet in a sudden torrent. I shrieked in shock as the icy spray drenched me.
"Oh my God!" I yelled.
At that moment, Kaden banged on the door, calling out in alarm."Serena? What's wrong? Are you alright?" Without waiting for an answer, he barreled inside, concern etched on his handsome features. His gaze swept over me assessingly, taking in my dripping form clinging helplessly to the sink counter. I saw his eyes linger briefly on my now see-through pink Tshirt before darting back to my face.
