FLAMES OF LOVE, PHOENIX TOUCH.

Flight

Rima's POV

I heard her scream, she was filled with fear, I couldn't imagine what she was going through, with high speed, I ran with all the members of the realm to her domain,

with all urgency I wipe open the barrier, we all ran to her door, I push with all force in me due to fear of unknown, the door was locked from inside, I had to calm down, breath down even when I know all wasn't going well inside of me.

I knock the door, she opened the door after few minutes, I was surprise, I saw her distressed, fighting so hard to withstand my presence.

When I enter her room I felt higher power than mine,

"it's must be a god or goddess"

I said to myself, I try using my spiritual eyes but it was too dark to notice the presence there.

"I heard your scream and I felt your fear," what happened to you I asked?

she swallow her saliva so hard to speech up, I saw the fear in her eyes,

" I had a dream of a bird trying to eat my grape(me) and I was scared, I fought and woke up from the dream with tremble fear," she said.

I looked straight up to her, I try to detect lie in her words, the power in the room was blocking my access to her, I walked close to her, I had to tell her this because that was what I was feeling at that space in time,

"don't be afraid I said, whatever must come to you must pass through me first "I assured her of her safety.

I saw her forcing herself to smile due to disbelief, I told her I needed to go because the power was pushing me out, I could feel it, I couldn't control it.

I told her I have to go, I saw her face with a glims of smile, I wasn't sure what I saw,

"thank you mother"

she said as I take my leave.

I left with burden on my mind, once we were outside her barrier I told Chogwu about what I felt inside and how I intend to solve it.

"I will watch over her domain" I said to Chogwu.

I don't understand supreme guardian she said.

I felt a stronger power in her room, the power is denying me access to her, I don't know what it was meant for, I feel it's is not safe for her.

I must watch over her domain myself,

"I can't fail the goddess" I said, with the expression of confusion on my face, I was really confused trying to figure out what a god or goddess will want from her.

"I must keep her safe" I said to myself in a whisper.

I easy noticed her mood swings, I couldn't understand, I want to understand what exactly she was going through, crossing out of the barrier "I felt her unexplainable excitement". I linked my power to her which makes me monitor her every move,

"What must be her reason for this joy?" I asked myself

Thanks to the goddess that her joy has being revived. thou I was confused by her speed in mood swings.

I turn to Chogwu "I don't understand why I can't read Oduma" I said.

my special gift from the goddess is to read both fairies and gods thought and I linked my power to her to help me access her from anywhere, why was it not possible for me read Oduma's thought today?

The only people's thought I can't read is the supreme gods and goddesses.

Is the supreme god in her room, I actually felt higher power in her room,

who could that be?

could it be that, it was that power that made her to be so scare?

with trembling fear or was it really a dream?

I have to go back.

On my turning, I felt her barrier being open, I felt a shake of reinforcement towards the barrier, I try to open it but the barrier was to strong for me, I already use more than half of my cultivation to reinforce that barrier,

I try again to avail, I felt helpless at the barrier.

I heard Chogwu saying, I see higher power is flying towards the exit of our barrier.

she screamed as she called out "Phoenix", it him,

she grab me by the shoulder, I turn to her I pull myself out of her hands,

I'm boiling inside, I lunch the flight, Chogwu followed,

she called out for the rest of the realm member to join us on the flight, few seconds later, I saw a Phoenix flying out,

I increase my speed to get to him, he turn back to see us,

he increase his speed tremendously, I couldn't imagine a speed like that, some seconds we lost track of him, I was heart broken,

I return with the rest members of the realm, on my reaching down, I ran back to Oduma's domain, trying to break through the barrier,

I used almost all my magical power,

I started vomiting blood, due to high spent of my power,

I was also scared of how I will be able to face my goddess if anything happens to Oduma.

with much bitterness in me I couldn't control my heartbeat and I collab to the earth.

Only my goddess know how long I slept, I open my eyes, I saw Chogwu sitting at my front, I was lost and couldn't remember what had happened, I lay down in bed trying to figure out everything,

"my greatest fear was where could Oduma be?"

I wasn't sure of her where about at the time and I couldn't feel anything anymore,

"is she in her domain or did the Phoenix took her way.?"

because the same power and presence I felt when I went to her room was the same I felt when I saw that Phoenix on the flight.

what is the mission of the supreme god here, what was he doing in Oduma's domain?

Why was Oduma protecting him?

She has never being out this realm, How could she had gotten contact with Him?

Was he the one that broke through the barriers?

Chogwu saw rock at the spot right?

Oh goddess please punish me, I have failed to protect Oduma,

Oh goddess, what have done to deserve this?

"Am so sorry to fail you goddess, with all my magical power I will protect the little goddess I promise."

I sat up, trying to put myself together,

"what happened" I asked Chogwu, she gasped in fear,

"supreme guardian, you are awake? thanks to the goddess form keeping you safe,

you lost consciousness when you went straight to Oduma's domain to break through the barrier,

you used almost all your magical power but to no avail, on trying to break through after we return from our flight chasing of that Phoenix" you fell to the earth and started vomiting blood, she said,

we have to go see her I said, okay supreme guardian, she responds.

Out of eagerness to know about her well being, I stood up, I felt to down, my legs where shaking, oh goddess I cry out in pain, am vomiting blood again,

Chogwu ran to support me from the ground, "supreme guardian please take some rest I beg you," she said.

she brought out her handkerchief to clean the blood on my lips,

Oh goddess, I can't rest when I don't know where and how she is, what will i tell my goddess when I see her, that I fail to protect Oduma?

I have to go there, what will you do if you bleed and die? your heart is badly injured, your soul is broken and you need rest, you have used more than 100,000 years of cultivation to reinforce her barrier. Chogwu said,

supreme guardian, please take time to rebuild your power, we can't risk it, we can't loose you,

please, think it through, you are too valuable to us in this realm, am sure Oduma is doing well, please I beg you. Chogwu said.

I was dumbfounded, I couldn't say a word, I feel bitter deep down my heart, I need to get into cultivation but my fresh is too weak to carry me. I lay back in bed, close my eyes.

Chogwu POV

I am bittered, my supreme guardian ran out of cultivating hall, saying she felt Oduma's is in danger,

"she screamed and she is felt it, that she is in fear right now" we need to go there now, she said.

all the members of the realm followed, we got to Oduma's domain supreme guardian wipe open the barrier, we enter her domain,

supreme guardian went straight inside, we remain outside the door, few minutes later, supreme guardian came out, we went outside her barrier, she was depressed, I could see bitterness in her eyes.

What is wrong supreme guardian? I asked, uh she breath down, I could sense a higher power in her room but I can't find it, Oduma lie to me I could feel it but I can't unravel it with my power, she answered.

she looked at the barrier and said she will watch over her, I couldn't understand her, I told her to explain but she was silent.

she ordered everyone to return to the cultivating hall, I couldn't leave her there alone so I told Mabel the third in command to go with the rest members of the realm to cultivating hall.

As I turn towards her I saw a surprise look on her face, out of curiosity I asked, supreme guardian what is the matter?

She is filled with joy that I can't explain, she answered.

I know there is a higher power in that room, she said.

We stood by the barrier soon we noticed a shake and a greater force passing through the barrier and reinforcing it, it was the "Phoenix with the flame of fire" that we saw three days ago going towards Oduma's domain, but I personally search for it in her domain I couldn't find any trace of it.

Oh my goddess, I gasped out in fear and grab supreme guardian by her shoulder.

She pull herself out of my hands and try to open the barrier but to no avail, she lunch a flight behind the Phoenix, soon the Phoenix was out of our barrier without breaking it and we lunched after it,

I called "Mabel" and other members of the realm to join us on the flight.

Few seconds into the flight the Phoenix noticed we were after him,

he turned to look at us then increased his speed tremendously, we lost track of him like the speed of light, he was very fast and powerful, he must be a higher gods on adventure I think to myself,

we return to our realm after loosing track of him,

supreme guardian went straight to Oduma's domain, using all her power to unlock the barrier,

"her most fear was where is Oduma," she was losing all her power, she started vomiting blood and collapse to the earth.

I ran towards her a grab her Mabel help me I screamed as I try to pull her from the ground.

we took her to her domain and lay her in bed, I check her but she has lost so much cultivation that her soul and spirit are breaking apart,

I'm scared of loosing her, ever since the death of our goddess she has being a mother to all, she has be cultivating for thousand years to become a goddess, since we have a little goddess in the realm by the law of heavenly rules she can't ascend to goddess,

I told others to return to the cultivating hall while I stay with her.

"in her dream she was pleasing to the flower goddess that she failed to take care of Oduma till 10,000years,

that it was her fault that she was not careful enough and powerful enough to protect her."

I felt her pain, we all promised flower goddess to protect Oduma with all our lives.

I was lost in thought when I am to be blame too, she run the realm and care for littles goddess like she is her own, I felt ashamed of myself because I can't say a word if I see my goddess today,

I have to help in any little way I can, I said to myself,

She woke up and sat up in bed and I went to her, what happened she asked? I explain things to her in a hurry,

I want to go to Oduma's domain she said, before she could take a step, she felt to the ground, she cried out not for the pain but for failing our goddess and I wasn't left out, she began to vomit blood again,

I try to pull her up to sit on the bed and used my handkerchief to wipe the blood on her lips,

"I have to go to her domain even if it means loosing all my magical powers she said,". trying to stand up, I had to

sit her back and encourage her that Oduma will be fine, if you recover you can unlock the barrier.

it took a long time to convince her and reconstruct her mind to focus on cultivation to gain her powers first.

I know I have to do something, I can't leave her to do this alone I said to myself.
