Burnt phoenix

Oduma's POV

I was sitting in my room while thinking about the wonderful taste of baked apple fruit, it was red, it has a sweet smell,

it carries the shape of heart,

Smiling to myself as I remember how was pulling down her eyes when making the cake....

Lare is funny at making cake, I loved it, I love her, she is like a sister to me, I will prepare something better tomorrow because mine will be "eyes and mind" appealing with the best taste I said to myself loudly......

I will add other fruit it make it smell unique, rising up my hands and weaving them in air crossing themselves and point out two finger opposite themselves as I demonstrate how to make fruit with my magical power, it was dawn on me that I can't use my magical power to do anything

it sadden me as the demonstration didn't come out as expect,

l wasn't even able to make a leaf, I said to myself angrily, I still find comfort in myself after telling myself, I have no use in the realm order than to eat, drink, play and sleep

because even if I cultivate is not working.

I really don't mind staying in my domain because is one of the most beautiful domain in the realm especially that Sunset,

I actually didn't want to go outside but something was pulling me so I stood up and went outside to look at the beautiful sunset radiating on my domain,

even when my house has double barriers I can see the ray of the sun, is water barrier,

I came outside and stood close the hibiscus flower in my domain, I stay alone, isolated from everyone, other members of the realm has single barrier but mine is double,

I was thinking about how mean Supreme Mother is to, when I eyes caught the beautiful flowers in my house, my house is cold and it help the plant in my domain to grow with full nutrients,

there are deep green and has beautiful scent which gives my domain a beautiful view from both rear and front view.

I have a big pool of water behind my house, I can bath and use water as I desire.

I smiled as I remember I have something others don't have, it makes me feel special, smiling, facing the sun and running my hands through the flower,

"Supreme Mother is not mean after all"

I said to myself in excitement

Suddenly I hear a resoundingly sound of a heavy or mighty rock breaking through my barriers and sinking into the ground, I was scared

but curious to see what has the power to break through the barriers, I run with fear of unknown to see what it was,

I came looking at the big hole that has be dung, i'm still shaking, and my mind went blank, what could it be that has the magical power to break through,

I was searching through with my eyes and anxious to see what it was when I saw a burnt phoenix, it's black, smoke is still coming out of it, am surprise because my barriers are water barriers not fire,

how come is the Phoenix burnt?

I have million of questions running through my head as I try to figure out what made the Phoenix to be burnt,

Maybe supreme guidance power is so powerful to burnt the Phoenix that tries to push it's way in?

Why will the Phoenix push it's way into my domain? Birds are not allowed here, birds are attracted by flower aura, and will eat us up".

I picked it up and deep it inside the flowing river behind my house where he felt, the burning and smoke stop, I felt relieved",

I took the Phoenix inside my house and hide it in my box.

As I was talking to myself standing close to my hibiscus flower, I saw supreme guidance coming to my domain with anxiety on her face,

"where is the bird that broke the barriers? "she ask

I was confuse for some second and I has to come up with a lie, mother I don't know I hear the sound that pull me out of my room but I didn't see any bird ma, I answered,

we must find that bird and kill it she said,

looking into my eyes, I blink several times to keep up my lie,

she and the rest realm member came together and fix the broken barriers,

I was watching as there pull force from the shoulder side weaving their hands in the air crossing each other pulling with mighty force point two fingers towards the supreme guidance while the supreme guidance point her palm towards the barriers and it looks amazing how the barriers closed in few minutes,

I wish I could will her kind of power I said to myself

"there were all panting after closing the barriers",

Supreme guidance glare at me with a suspicious eyes, like she knew I was lying to her,

she told me to me careful of birds that it can harm me and left with the rest members of the realm, for some seconds

I was scared thinking of how the the Phoenix will be able to make it back once it recover it seems dead thou it's alive.

I was also scared for myself, what if the bird eat me up? I don't have any power to defend myself from harm, Supreme Mother might be right, I said to myself,

I also noticed that the supreme guidance reinforce my barriers, it wasn't as clear as it use to be. that also worries me.

my face was full of worries not for myself in total but for the Phoenix that mistakenly fall into my domain.

"it's just a bird"

I had to wait until the last person has gone then I went back inside my house.

Rima's POV

I was sitting at the cultivating hall when I hear a resoundingly sound of a mighty rock with the flame of fire coming towards our barrier,

I focus on its direction has it passes through the barrier,

"it's a bird"

I saw it went through Oduma's barrier, making two barriers,

"I was shocked and surprised at the same time,"

I needed to know the type of bird that has the power to break through our strong water barriers,

what is that with fire coming? asked Chogwu,"

"my second in command,"

I have no idea I answered in a hurry, let's go,

it going towards Oduma's domain, we all went on our heels to make it to Oduma's domain on time,

I was scared the bird might harm her and I have a lot of questions in my head,

"what is that bird,"

why is it here?

why is it going direct towards Oduma's domain?

Who sent it here?

what is it's mission?

I was praying so hard to the goddess in my heart that Oduma should be in good condition, as we approach her domain

I wipe open her barrier to create passage for us,.

I was anxious to see her, on my entrance I saw her standing by her hibiscus flower forcing herself to smile,

I rise my head and looked at her, where is the bird I ask in a demanding tone,

it took her some seconds to reply, I saw the shock on her face,

I fixed my eyes on hers to see if there will be lies in her response,

I noticed her blinking severally to keep her words without cracking,

I thought she might be scared from her explanations given to me. I asked Chogwu, if she found anything,

yes"; we found I big hole at the back with a rock in it,

she answered, my heart was racing high, I try my best not to show I was anxious or scared,.

"A rock?"

I asked in a demanding tone,

I glare at Oduma to see her reaction but all was weak,

that makes me fear the more, we all came together and fix the broken barrier,

we were all panting after using more than full of my cultivation to mend the broken barrier,

And out of fear I reinforce the strength of the barrier and looked at Oduma very well before leaving,

making sure she was all right, I thank the goddess beneath my breathe.

I couldn't get my mind off her safety even as we leave,

I pray not to fail my Mistress, she is just 6000 years old and her love calamity will come at 10,000 years,
