It was all silent, not even the wind made a sound anymore. She was angry, mad, sad. A ton of emotions was spinning around her. And yet she felt calm. Jasmine knew that it was the warm feeling within her body. Her own wolf was calming her down. If only her mother was around to give her advice and a big warm hug. But yet she was alone, in the darkness, having a mate ready the first thing tomorrow morning. She still couldn't pinpoint her thoughts, and the last thing she wanted to do was to think of Mika. The big hunk that was somewhat disgusting in her eyes. With a big sigh she stood up, brushed the dirt off her pants and was ready to go back to the village.  But she hesitated while walking. What if she ran away? What if she just turned her back against the clan and became a loner. That wouldn't be a problem would it? Jasmine shook her head hard getting rid of the thought making sure it didn't grew bigger. She knew she had to accept her father's wish and also their clans. It was her duty as the child of the chief.  Darkness was surrounding her and the wind was much more colder than earlier.  In the far distance she could hear her mother singing a lullaby, but Jasmine knew that it was just the wind and her tiredness that was messing with her. She walked the small path that was filled with bushes and trees. The thin branches was almost whipping her body as she was walking through.  A normal human would have had scratches and bruises already, but because of the luxury of having the genes she had Jasmine didn't feel anything. Only her heart breaking each second she came closer to the village. Suddenly a thought hit her and she almost fell over a rock. "What if I go to the elders. Ask them to cancel it all and allow me to find my own mate when the time is right for me."  As she was speaking to herself  she noticed that she had walked in circles. She was ready to run to the elders but stopped herself. Jasmine knew she was going against her fathers orders, but what else could she do? She didn't want to be forced into anything. She-wolf or not. Why does the males always have a choice in this kind of matters. She forcefully kicked a rock walking the path back to her home. But it didn't take long until she stopped again. Not because of her thoughts. But because of the stench. It was oozing from the bushes and she wanted to puke. "Good evening Jas." A very deep voice said it and she shrugged. How can someone possibly like that.
