Chapter 11

When Alec woke up the next morning, Elizabeth was curled up safely in his arms. He smiled as he watched her sleep. "Do you realize how happy you make me every day when I wake up next to you?" Alec asked as he gently kissed her forehead. Elizabeth gently stirred from the kiss, and she opened her eyes. Alec smiled then said, "I'm sorry, angel did I wake you up?" "No, I was already waking up, but right now it's comfortable to stay here," Elizabeth said, snuggling up closer to him. "If you keep doing this, then I am not responsible for my actions," Alec promised as his arms tightened around her waist.

"Hmm, that sounds nice however you and I both know that we can't do anything right now. At least not until the bundle of joy in my stomach is here." Elizabeth said as she looked up at Alec. Alec sighed, then answered, "I guess that is true. However, there is no rule against me, touching you." Alec let out a purr like sound, and then gently nuzzled her neck, nipping at the skin on her neck. "Oh, come now, we need to get up soon. We have things to discuss as well as things to do." Elizabeth said, gently pushing on Alec's chest.

Alec looked surprised when Elizabeth pushed on his chest. "Even if you try to deny the feelings angel, you know that you can't last long under my touch." Alec purred in her ear. "No, Alec not now," Elizabeth said, struggling in his arms. Alec quickly pinned her down and said: "Come now, angel....." Before Alec could finish his statement, the door Burt's open and there stood Sophia, and behind her was an apologetic looking Damien. "Alec has some respect it is early in the morning. Besides, if she is going to be your mate, then she must learn everything. I have a day planned for me and her to spend the whole day together. It is time her training began instead of her fighting alongside you." Sophia said, wrinkling her nose up at the sight if Alec and Elizabeth in bed.

Elizabeth turned bright red because under the covers she was wearing nothing but her underwear. "Alec get off if me." She said with embarrassment. She began to struggle under Alec and managed to get out from under him, but in the process, he ended up on the floor.

"Ow, did both of you have to come in here right now?" Alec asked, stroking his head where his head hit the ground when he fell. "I tried to stop her Alec knowing very well that you like to enjoy your time alone in the morning, but she demanded that she was a 'purebred' and therefore didn't have to listen to the likes of me." Damien said, "it's fine Damien even I can't control her sometimes. Sophia, I don't believe that right now is the best time for Elizabeth to be out in public. It is a tender moment for both of us." Alec said to Sophia, slowly standing up.

"Alec, you know as well as I do that your mother will refuse to acknowledge her unless she has the basic knowledge of our race. What better way to learn it than with another female. After all, we know that if you try to teach us you both are going to lose focus so fast that it isn't even funny." Sophia answered, looking at Alec in the eye. Sophia watched as Alec sighed, then turned and looked at Elizabeth. "What do you think about this angel?" He asked. Elizabeth put her hand on her chin, then said, "It might be a good idea. After all, you and I can get somewhat crazy when we are alone. It couldn't hurt, and maybe I can learn a bit about your childhood from Sophia since you two are childhood friends." Elizabeth said with a smile. "Alright Sophia, Elizabeth will join you shortly, just wait out in the main cave, and she will be along shortly," Alec said.

As Sophia turned to leave, Alec grabbed her arm "If anything happened to Elizabeth while you are out, then you will be held responsible. Trust me when I say that you will regret everything." Alec promised her. Sophia looked in his eyes, and she saw the hatred and the promise within his eyes, and she shivered with fright. He released her arm, and when he did so, Damien stepped outside of the room, and Sophia quickly exited the room almost running away from Alec.

"Alec sweetie you didn't have to scare her like that. We will be fine after all, do you know how long I have been craving for a time where I got to enjoy myself with a friend? I love you and all Alec, however, you can be a little suffocating." Elizabeth said with a laugh as she climbed out of bed and walked to the closet that she and Alec shared.

"If I do not scare people so they won't hurt you, then I am weak in the eyes of the younger warriors," Alec said, putting his elbows on the bed and looking like a lost puppy. "Oh no no no don't give me that look, Alec, you know as well as I do that sometimes you can be suffocating. Allow me to enjoy this day then we can discuss what we are going to do tomorrow." Elizabeth said, ignoring his sad looking face. "But angel, how can I live a day without you?" Alec asked in a pouty voice.

"Don't worry, Alec, no matter what I do today, I will always be thinking about you. Because once I get home, we can enjoy the rest of the evening together after all what is Alec without Elizabeth and what is Elizabeth without Alec?" Elizabeth said, smiling at Alec. "But without you here, I will be lost. It will be so boring without you here." Alec answered.

"Oh, Alec," Elizabeth said as she walked over to him. She cupped his checks and rough this face up so that he was looking at her in the eye. "No matter what Alec, I will always hold you dear in my heart, and you will always remain the main person who occupies my heart," Elizabeth promised slowly bringing her lips to his and giving him a passionate kiss. Alec was surprised by this kiss, but soon he was kissing her right back, and even put his tongue into the kiss. Elizabeth couldn't help but moan from the passionate kiss, and then when she pulled away, she was panting as was Alec. "I love you, angel... Now go get ready and if you are not ready in a few minutes then your not leaving this room until tomorrow." Alec said, quickly grabbing some clothes and leaving the room.

Sophia was impatiently waiting in the main cave. She had been texting her allies who were going to help her with the plan. It was all and all an easy strategy to execute. It was merely taking her ad, hiding her away long enough for Sophia to get close to Alec. As soon as she was, she would give the order to kill Elizabeth, and then Alec would be all hers. As Sophia watched the cave around her, Elizabeth came running out of her room, with Alec following closely behind her. "No, Alec, Sophia is waiting we will be home later, I'll see you later," Elizabeth said, quickly escaping his grasp and then grabbing Sophia's hand. "Come on, Sophia, before he changes his mind." Elizabeth urged. Suddenly she and Sophia disappeared from the cave.
