The next night Elizabeth woke up on the bed. Expecting Alec to be laying right next to her, she turned to look at him. Seeing the bed empty, Elizabeth quickly sat up and looked around the room. She found Alec standing there, next to the crib. Quietly she stood up and walked over to him, wrapping her arms around him. "Good morning, angel," Alec whispered, finally noticing her pretense. "What are you up to?" Elizabeth purred as she too looked at their sleeping daughter. "Just enjoying how happy I am. Right now I wouldn't mind if time just froze. I would be the happiest I have ever been in my whole life." Alec answered with a smile. "But if time froze then how would we get to see her grow up. I want to be there for her everything, her first steps, her first word, her first kill." Elizabeth sa
