"Everything?" I repeated with a frown. "Yeah," he had an unreadable expression, "I mean, our companies joining hands together and all." Oh. I didn't think that was it. Strangely enough, a part of me felt disappointed. What had I expected him to want to talk about? "Or have you changed your mind?" He asked, leaned back against the chair in a comfortable pose. My reply was with an eye roll. "Obviously not." The side of his lips hitched up a little. Just a little, but I noticed it and noted the slight relief my words seemed to have brought. Maybe it wasn't such a smart idea to be joining hands with my ex-husband, but believe me when I say, I wasn't regretting it. It was definitely going to be a journey. And a part of me sensed it might be a long one with lots of drama on the way.
