~ Dale ~ Every part of me knew I shouldn't be feeling the way I felt sitting opposite Chloe, but I did. My eyes found it hard to leave her, noting every single detail about her. The way her shoulders relaxed with each bite of the burger I'd ordered. How her eyes slowly shut and open, seeming to savor in its taste. Her fingers gripping the burger's wrapper with so much tenderness, it made me wonder how that'd feel on me. Thoughts I shouldn't be having kept flooding in, but I didn't bother stopping them.
