It was Saturday, but I still went to work.
Staying home wouldn't prove anything positive, so why not get out and get something good going.
Once I got in, the workers showed their respect as I headed to the elevator, which took me to my floor.
Kanyin was there when I stepped out.
She offered a small bow. “Welcome ma'am. There are some files on your table that need attending to.”
My feet moved me to my office, while she followed.
As she'd said, files piled the place, which wasn't unexpected, considering the amount of procrastinating I'd done lately.
Which was why I would have to complete most today.
To prevent boredom, I told Kanyin to turn on the TV.
