Elles POV:
To say I was dumb struck and extremely turned on by that encounter is a complete understatement. Even Betty noticed my disheveled face and voiced concern.
Walking in a daze to the book store, still thinking about what he said. I replayed the way his body moved when he inched closer and the smell of his skin that was moist to touch from his run.
He wanted to eat me... down there. Oh god it's been ages since a man has touched me and even though I can't stand Mr hotshot I have to admit that his words sparked my curiosity.
The thoughts of being caressed in all the right places and more surprisingly by him, were playing through my mind like a tape recorder broken.
I wanted to explore the idea but refused to give in to whatever game he was playing at. He just said a few days ago (well not directly but it was implied) that I was not his type. I mean he yelled at me.
Now he was making jokes about wanting to taste me. God, who is this stranger and what does he want. Moreover, what do I want and why am I entertaining these thoughts.
Since Brent, I haven't had anyone else. After-all he was my first everything. More importantly , the reason I could never trust a man again. Although , my trusted purple friend helped the urges I had every so often, I know a man's touch would truly suffice me.
I piled books away in its designated spot with my mind filling with completely dirty thoughts about this gorgeous tall man pushing me up a wall and fu-
"Elle, you listening to me?", Bella said; my assistant, a gorgeous girl who was so book smart but extremely shy.
"I'm sorry Bella , I must have zoned out. You were saying?"
"That does not sound like something you do , want to talk about it? What I had to say is not important anymore."
So it began; me telling her about my encounters with the gorgeous but cocky stranger and her laughing her ass off at my obvious discomfort with being attracted to him.
"You just need to get laid babe, I'm sure your interest with him will diminish then. Better yet, f**k him."
I screeched in astonishment, "WHAAT! NO!". The words came out confidently but the rosiness of my cheeks betrayed my thoughts.
"You already thinking about it , give it a shot. Would help you to clear the cobwebs down there too."
I could not believe Bella ; the girl who would not speak to our boss ,before I bought the store, because he intimidated her was telling me to get out of my shell and sleep with a stranger. Where's the bookworm shy girl now?
"Who are you and what have you done with my friend?", I asked, genuinely curious by her reaction to my situation.
"I'm Bella stupid. I just have a wild side you haven't seen.”
Shaking my head I got back to the task at hand and played with the idea in my head.
Maybe I should give it a go. All I knew was that trouble was about to start. After-all, whenever there is a change in my life , chaos always ensues.
Question was, do I play the game he was pitching or was I the game that was going to be played?
With that thought in mind, I got back to stacking my books and dreaming about the unlawful things I wanted him to do to me. Yet, I would never let him get there so easily.
“What did you say his name was?”, called Bella out loud from behind the counter, I swivelled in her direction, dumbstruck for a moment trying to recall what he said his name was.
“Elijah.”, I said. She typed his name into her laptop and scrolled through asking me if I recognised all the Elijah’s she found. None of them matched.
“Strange”, said Bella and I simultaneously. Everyone has a digital footprint , where’s his?
Hmmm. Seems he is more mysterious than I thought, why does that make me excited?
“So you are stalking me hey?”.
