Invidian's POV "I kissed her!" Henley cries out, flinging her arms around me as soon as I appear in her room. She squeezes me so tight I feel like my ribs are going to break. "I'm dy...ing," I gasp, trying to tug her off. Her grasp only tightens. "I can't believe it happened! She even kissed me back! I feel like everything is a dream!" I wedge her off me, tripping back onto her couch. She beams broadly without any concern for the spine she nearly broke. She jumps on me, her face flushed red and eyes glowing with joy. "Last night, I took your advice and took her on a picnic in GoldVine's forests. It was all nice and fancy with candles just like you told me so."
