Chapter five- Revenge Plan

704 Words
Ashina left the cage with her face fully covered, she wore a mask over her face because she feared that once she entered the city she would be recognized, and they might want to kill her because she was a member of the bowfall Redmoon pack. Her plan now was to go in search of information that could take Alpha Rowan down and all the other alphas that had plotted to end the Redmoon pack. It was not going to be an easy task, but Ashina was sure that she could carry on with it as long as no one would be able to recognize her. As she walked into the city, she noticed how gloomy the air was. Surely they must have heard of the deaths that occurred in the Redmoon pack, but she didn’t think that anybody cared for the Redmoon pack as much as the people in it. Maybe they were going through their own struggles, or she was probably overthinking things. Her tummy rumbled as she continued to walk further into the big market. “s**t, I haven’t eaten all day” she whispered to herself as she checked the small carrryon small cross-shouldered bag she carried to check if she had a few coins to get some meal from the local restaurants around me. She didn’t think that she needed food earlier on because of how her appetite had gone due to the situation of things, but now that she was walking, she felt the piercing pain of hunger, and it did not feel good one bit. Ashina looked around the area in deep thoughts of what are few coins could get her, she doubted it would be enough for anything, but maybe she would work her way through but how long would she be able to work. She needed to gather information, and she needed to be fast about it. As she continued walking to nowhere in particular, deep in thoughts. She passed by a young girl who looked just like her younger sister. Ashina was at first confused. She thought that her sister had died in the m******e. Maybe she was reborn just like her. She folllwed closely behind the young girl. The girl was walking hand in hand with a male, but Ashina was determined to know if the girl was her sister. Ashina continued following them. They were both oblivious of her as they continued psyching at each other’s jokes. When they got to a lonely path, and she saw that the man had left, Ashina used that as an opportunity to grab her by the arm. “Let me go” she creamed at the top of her voice. She had not yet seen Ashina’s face as it was fully covered by a mask. She struggled with Ashina, thinking that Ashina was a stranger whose intentions were to kill her or do something bad to her. “Louve, it’s me” the girl continued, struggling until the man she was walking with earlier on came to her rescue. He placed a knife over Ashina's throat in attempt to slit it. “It’s me Ashina”, Ashina said again, and then she removed the mask from her face, showing her sister that it was truly her. “Let her go, she is my sister” Louve finally spoke up and then the guy who had placed a knife over Ashina’s thrust gently dropped his hands, making Ashina take a deep breath. Ashina ran to hug Louve, and then she looked over her body to see if she had any injuries on her. “How did you manage to escape? She asked Louve, who turned to the man that had almost slit Ashina’s throat. “Rozan, my friend over there helped me” she breathed out, remembering how Rozan had helped her out.” He saved me from the m******e” “Thank you” Ashina joined hands together.. A show of gratitude. Words were not enough for her to show how much appreciation she had in her heart. “Come let me take you to where I live.” Louve held Ashina by the hands, intertwining hers against Ashina’ and then both sisters walked
