TWENTY-FOUR While Fidget was eating in front of the TV and the cookies were baking in the galley, Sassi told the apprentice that she was going to make a call. They’d passed a phone on the dock and she needed to warn Stuart about what had happened. Running from the ship, she leaped onto the dock, and hurried to the phone. While dialing to reverse the charges, she turned to keep an eye on Eros. Fidget wouldn’t leave because she’d told him not to and he’d always followed her orders. It was amazing that he wasn’t madder at her.
