I was shocked that I was able to talk with Tristan before I got a chance to talk to Iris. I guess that just shows how much damage that b***h did to her. Marian was the devil. Or at least in league with one.
“Did you just say you’re Iris’ dad?”
I nodded, mentally preparing myself for all the questions that were soon to follow.
“Have you been a cat...her whole life?”
I stared at him.
That’s not what you meant to ask. That’s a stupid question.
Tristan rubbed his face with his hands.
“You are telling me you are both a cat and Iris’ father. You are also talking. At this point, nothing is off the table.”
I rolled my eyes.
“Ok. So when did you become a cat?”
That is the right question.
