The sky is an indigo hue, stars still faint as the warriors gather on a wide cliff plateau. Goku, Vegeta, Broly, and Gohan stand in formation. Goten and Trunks sit in meditation with Whis nearby.
Whis (smiling gently): "Today is about pressure. What you do when pushed beyond comfort. That is where true form is revealed."
Goku (grinning): "Sounds like my kind of day."
Vegeta (gruff): "Tch. Just don't hold back."
Broly (calm but intense): "I won't."
Gohan (serious): "I'm ready."

Beast Form explodes out—energy wild and violet-white. Everyone stops fighting as the whole plateau shakes.
Whis (smiling): "There it is, this isn't divine ki... but it's awakened power nearly beyond it. Raw. Unrefined. Yet terrifyingly pure."

Scene opens in the quiet mountains on Earth. Piccolo is floating cross-legged in the air, meditating with eyes closed. The wind is still. A bird flies past silently.
Suddenly... a violent jolt of energy ripples through the air—subtle, yet sharp like a spiritual scream.
Piccolo's eyes snap open. His brows tighten. He drops to the ground softly.
Piccolo (quietly, almost to himself): "...Gohan...?"
The camera pans around his face—he's not shocked, but his eyes are filled with concern.
Piccolo (placing two fingers to his forehead): "That power... It's not divine... but it's deeper than rage. He's done it."
He lowers his hand, frowning toward the sky where the energy came from.
